great lil mini tutorial

I’m a noob to setting up my wet palette and can’t get it right. Do you wet the sponge, ring it out too it’s damp and then put the paper on top dry? Or pour water on the sheet like you do here? I just pressed mine down on the damp sponge but when I put paint or water on it it instantly disappears into tiny bubbles. Can’t decide if I need more or less moisture. Can you help?

5oz is sooo much. I have the XL pallet but I’m afraid putting 5 ounces on. It is going to make the paints runny.

Nice! I’ve been wanting to pick up your original R9 Desk lamp for a while now, but I might back this instead. What are the major differences between the two models? Would you consider this newer light a “refinement” of your previous design, or is this just the same light in a smaller form factor? Thanks!

Just bought one and I had a quick question, is the water that wets the foam pad enough to thin the paints on the paper? It doesn't appear that there is any water seeping through to help thin paints.

What's the point in wringing the foam dry when you're just going to pour water on it once again afterwards? I just did this with my new redgrass palette and it the foam just soaked up all the water that i wringed out.

I’m a bit confused were those paints already thinned? Or did you use the hydration paper to thin them? I’m really struggling with thinning my paints using this and after seeing this I’m even more confused now.

Was that some of your putty used to secure that pin for painting the arm?

is it flicker free? I want to record drawing process videos but I ran into a problem using a led light where i couldn't sync the flicker to the cameras fps so it picked up the flickers

So glad I backed the kickstarter and got all these attachments. This has made such a huge impact on my painting. :)
