How to install a electric wind shield wiper on your golf cart
If I Hooked it up without. Relay. Did I Blown out Lite Bar. Dt
GO BILLS BABY
Great job! I know this was done two years ago but maybe you could get a tripod and set it up while filming. I got a little dizzy trying to follow your hand movements.
He'll ya buddy...Go Bills. #billsmafia
Now add a sturdier platform for your dog to stand on. After two years did it work well? Would you change anything (bigger wheel maybe)?
Well made, good job, it looks really good.
What are the brackets called that you used for the handle bar?
Helloo Where did you get the brackets?
Where did u get that converter? I want to mount the heater you have directly to my 1 gallon tank. Looks like that would work perfectly. No more little bottles
Cool man im not good with working with wood & this is something im thing of trying looks great
Dose the step down converter drain the 48 Volt battery by just keeping it connected? even when the converter is not in use? just curious
Idk but thank you for calling it a “converter” and NOT a “transformer”!!! 😉
What is the best size fuse for the lights?
Dude, for a "beginner" you're really good. I suck at wood projects, but am going to try to emulate what you did as close as I can.
For 48v to 12v you hook red (positive) to 1st battery in series and black (ground) to last battery in series so you have all 48v going to your converter (transformer) and it makes the power coming out 12v
Great video. I am working on getting my 2011 EZGo RXV street legal. Here in Illinois we have a classification called LSV (low speed vehicle) but it requires a vehicle identification number (VIN) which golf carts do not have from the manufacturer. Have you had to deal with that in Texas?
Woodglut has a lot of plans to choose from.
I believe that using transformer for 48v to 12v conversion will draw from all batteries equally. If you hook it up so it only activates with your key or your draw should only be when key is activated for everything. Standard is for headlights to turn off if key is off. No draw. Very good design 👍 If you hook directly to a single battery you could have a constant draw if accessory has an idle mode like anything with gps or some cameras that monitor things when vehicle is not in use. They suck the energy out of just 1 battery instead of the 4 batteries like I have in my toy. I have some stuff now off key but couple accessories I want to use without key in it. I have my reasons 😂. I have 2 ways to turn the energy on and off to those. Safety reasons. Thanks again for video 👊
would you need to connect the fuse box after the ignition key or do you need a relay? trying to have fuse box after the key for this very reason.
Do you also not need an inline fuse on the red wire running from the battery?
Awesome. Thanks and GO BILLS!!
When connecting the transformer, can you use different guage wires? What should the guage be on the 48volt side vs 12 volt?
Great job 👏 congrats
I must be missing something I got mine wired with no transformer just used the positive and negative on the same battery no problem ever
Love it!
As long as you're happy, keep creating! Super cool Jay!
Love it
Does the transformer put a drain on the batteries when not in use..?
Great idea 💡 I think I will install a wipe motor on my golf cart. Thanks for the idea
For your 1st time, u did an AMAZING JOB.
Good video, I am thinking of doing this on my mule and golf cart. Just out of curiosity, what part of Texas are you in? I am in Tyler. Would be cool if you were close to help me. ha ha
We r in Arlington
@@fawncarberry8959 I go through there all the time.
He said he would help ya out!
Go Bills!!!
Nice, they have a 25% off coupon for inside track members for any Braun lights at harbor freight and today.
link to the switch panel please
You do realize that wiring up the transformer directly to the batteries will cause a constant drain on the batteries.
Agreed! A simple 2~Prong on-off kill switch is needed.
Would a 4 pin relay be more beneficial in this case?
Don’t the on off switches stop the battery drain?
@@johnpeterson8162 no, if you have a transformer wired directly to the batteries
Marine switch for double batteries allow you to use either battery, both together at 12v or choose off. They used to be used in ambulances this way. You choose one to start truck and your run. Go to scene and park ….. now alternator says holy crap I can’t keep up .. .. sometimes they died. (Many alternators replaced). Dead truck when you went to put patient. But ….. 2 batteries. Flip it over brmmm brmmm in those days 😊
Great job, Love the laid-back approach to the job.
Go Bills!
Good Buffalo!! Your awesome 👌love and miss you guys 💯
Good job! Ill try poggying when i come down
I like that I can tint with that
Nice job!
Love the video brother! Keep this up!!! Super cool!!!
Appreciate it!!
Very cool!!! I was wondering why you weren't just using the actual lid to the cooler- and attaching it to the underside of the top for best insulation... At the end I was relieved to see we were on the same page 😁
How can I get the plans and cut list
That is really awesome!
That is so nice!!!!! Looks amazing
Awesome
Great review! Going to have to get one of these for sure.
You should!
@Braunlumen
That's great , thanks
