My Vlad is at 71 percent wins and 350 battles... I also run a level 12 Makarov wuth her ... but her true power lies with the special Red Rising AP camo in together with Makarov... can easily score 6-7 citadels with 30 - 40 main gun hits . Which is monstrous 😅

Great video and thanks! After I talked to ya a little bit about that issue for me I tried in training rooms with my German BBs with breaking turrets. It's still a work In progress, but ships like California, Montana, Soyuz, and Hawke are very consistent for me with breaking turrets. Thanks again for the help

Great video, Soulfire. If I haven't played a ship in a while, I often play AI just to get the feel for her. Also a good place to practice aiming and rapid reload and precise aim. I believe Terry had a video on modules (dated now), but each module has a hit point pool, once that reaches 0, the module breaks.🤷‍♂️ I have never tested that though.

I like this ship. But it is a pain to play, marco is way better, in almost everyway or feels that way. This just feels sluggish, squish armor and the main guns move slow and don't slap. She is fun when it goes well and positioned well. Secondaries are okish. She can be fun but u have to be on ur game.

The major screw up during the gameplay part of the video…. I said 12 guns so many times. It got pointed out and I had a laugh rewatching it. Trying to play and talk at the same time apparently can be challenging for me 😂😂😂😂😂

Hey Soulfire, I thought you might like to know that after the video you, Slai and Boblyn posted recently, I believe all players received an in game email from WG apologizing for the issues and stating that they are working to fix the problems. There was a small amount of compensation prizes attached to the email. Thanks for supporting the community.

Ranked is definitely the place to grind Soyouz, Yugumo and similar ships.

I’m a whale and Eva I found this event insulting it’s one of the rare events. I’m not going to take part in. It’s a joke of a money grab.

I have definitely been guilty of tunnel visioning from time to time, though in my defence usually with battlecruisers closing in for the kill and forgetting to pay closer attention to my surroundings when cycling between mains, secondaries and torpedos 😂 I’m up to Izumo on the Yamato line, wasn’t originally planning on grinding it but when the white tiger camo came as a daily login reward I thought it’s a good opportunity to grind at least up to the Amagi. I was pleasantly surprised with it actually, just have to be a bit careful with positioning but you have the speed and manoeuvrability to give a bit more flexibility in how you move around.

I got 2 keys from the event and the first one I got 10k tokens to purchase the yumihari camo and the other key I got yamamoto. So the event sucks objectively BUT. I got lucky but still WG need to do better

My wife is the key to get these rewards. I got 2500 flowers bought 1 crate and phaaaam tier 8 in the port. She also got between the all events tier 7 spanish cruiser l, grom, and black charles martel. She is the key I let her open all my chests.

Came back to see this again since it will be in the shipyard soon. 😊

This is a fun ship if used well, its not for everyone. I love it. But the HE needs to be a little better it should be a Firestarter in my opinion.

Yeah this isn’t a “early release”. You can’t even buy your way to the t8. You have to grind the living shit out of this event just to get the t8. So it’s basically an event where you can buy a bunch of gatcha keys and try your luck in the crate. Previously early releases involved a reward tree where you could choose between the t5-t8 ship based on your effort level, but at least you were guaranteed something. This one, your top prize is basically the Black Fuso, maybe some special camos. But this ship is out of range for most players.

I feel robbed by WG looking at this event. As a 5 year player, I think that we deserve at least a little bit more than what WG is giving us. This event is doing the complete opposite of making me want to play cause i can do so many things with the time I put into the event. It's absolutely ridiculous where WG is going right now, and it makes me frustrated. Since the crate is pretty dogcrap and gotta take what WG gives you, I may just grind out the tier 6 Spanish cruiser to get my leg commander on Asturias

The German BC line is awesome - going out in a blaze of glory while you do massive damage to the red team is the name of the game. 😂 Seriously though, the line (along with the Scharnhorst and Gneisenau) just takes patience and positioning. Your armour can’t take long range exchanges, but if you get inside secondary range your firepower can usually whittle most BBs down before they get to sink you, and if you can use your concealment to take them by surprise all the better. As DFA’s old guides to the Scharnhorst and Gneisenau suggested, pick unfair fights. Stay concealed as long as possible, and when you spot ships out of position or without support, close in and hammer them. And if it turns out there was more support you didn’t spot, turn around and withdraw. When I go through videos of games that didn’t go so well, usually the common theme in them is that I wasn’t patient enough and rushed in too early, or didn’t withdraw when the situation called for it.

Lion is a weird one. It's perfectly fine for tier 9, but just like most of the other tier 9 ships, it can't compete with tier 10 at all. That's the problem. There's just too big of a power gap between tier 9 and 10, hopefully with the addition of the legendary tier. Whenever that comes we'll get fixed. Matchmaking because tier 9 generally should not be matched up against tier 10 ever. It's just too lopsided
