I love Entropy Zero 2 but I have to say that I think I like Swelter better. The setting and vibe of the game feels so unique and interesting while still being distinctly HL2. The stakes might not have been as high as EZ2 but I think that's what I like about it more. It feels more interesting to be a smaller part of the world instead of performing these vastly significant missions that affect the course of history. It was really cool actually seeing the rebellion on the ground as it grew in momentum rather than just showing up while it's already at its apex. I loved feeling like you were actually fighting your way through the city block by block and seeing the chaos unfold in real-time. That and the soundtrack is so much better. I honestly don't remember any of EZ2's tracks standing out to me (unlike the first one which was full of nothing but bangers) but this game, holy crap the soundtrack evokes so many different feelings and conveys the tones its going for so effectively. I genuinely hope this man gets work in the professional sphere because this mod honestly would only be a fraction as good as it is without it.
