62 is a peak hour only bus now between Andorra & Center City. And the area the old 62 operated through is now covered by the 13, 68 & 108 so there is no need for a new trolley route.

So far, the Mariah Carey ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS was removed from the Black Panther bus, but the narration was kept so we're okay with that. We'll keep you updated on any other changes.

The Beyoncé LOVE ON TOP music was also removed from the Starbus segment as well, but dialogue retained. The only copyright ID claim is for OLD TOWN ROAD on the Cozy Country Christmas bus, but it's not a strike so that's good. Only downside is because it exists and we're not wasting any more time at this point to remove it, this video can't be monetized. But at least the channel is in good standing for now so that's a relief. Ugh, I get copyrights, but damn, to hit up the channel for audio playing in the background is insane. Damn you Sony..... It's a personal affair. The operator, Gary Mason, has been decorating trolleys some of the holidays since about 1994 and pays for decorations out of his own pocket and dedicates his own time to dress up the cars.

Also, since he works out of Callowhill District, you'll only see his cars on the 10 or 15. But, a few other operators from Elmwood District (RTs 11, 13, 34, 36) have begun to decorate cars as well in the past years so if you see them there, that's why.

@@YaboyMX595 The CRRC cars were not to replace the IVs. They were to be add-ons to the fleet. The IVs are to be replaced by single level VI cars that just went up for bid recently.

When they were being built, SEPTA's order got so backed up at the Nova plant that MTA told Nova to just give them the SEPTA spec Novas just so MTA could place them in service since their own buses were so late after being held up by SEPTA order delays. So that's why you'll see SEPTA spec Novas in NYC.

Inbound, the cab signals slow them down so that they don't overrun the station on the downhill and so that they don't rock side to side and bump a train coming out of the subway the other direction. And crazy screen name btw 😆

Happened that day

Wouldn't have mattered other than that it would've went against the announcement at 69th St.....

The fire alarm went off at 52nd Street

Yet with all of that going on, ppl were still waiting for the train as if nothing was happening.....

Top speed is 55mph, but curves are about 30

It wasn't announced prior to the ride so people at 69th that could've gotten off at 40th, waited for the next train thinking that this one was skipping 40th. Plus, the folk on the train that thought it was going straight to 15th would now be disappointed that it stopped at 40th because that added to the travel time and it would get them there and further east later than expected when planning connections.

Not us, but SEPTA (the local Philadelphia transit agency). Trolley operators do this on their own time with their own money to boost the morale of the riders. A Breast Cancer Awareness Trolley is out on the streets now and we will be posting a video of that one very soon so stay tuned.

We heard that there is a proposal to extend the 102 to Darby that would double as shop access to the new Grays Depot once built and completed for the future new ALRVs.
