You can hang a 12ft net in a 14ft wide frame, but you will need to get new, longer hanging cords. We only have one size for our hanging cords.

I am sorry you are having issues with rodents chewing on your net. If we were to make a system to lift up the netting it would not be economical. Most people roll the netting up and use a carabiner clip to secure it while not using the cage.

@@BattingCagesInc You can run 4 individual pieces of super light weight rebars on all 4 sides of the bottom of the net, that will add some weight and the net will stay put on the ground - and then attach the rebars with a pully system, so it can be easily lifted to about 6" to a foot above the ground. They even now have fiberglass rebars that are very light and rust free. These are called LiteBars at Menards.

We have batting cage package that come with the frame and net (some packages have more accessories included). We do not have any cages that can be retracted to a wall.

Yes, that is something that comes up every once and a while. If you were to attach hooks on the outside of the poles, that might be a solution. We are currently looking at solutions to this problem.

@@BattingCagesInc Yes, ended up using hooks and carabiner to raise the net - but it's quite tedious and takes up some manual work every time you start and end a practice session. There should be some sorta manual hand winch system for outdoor use that does not require any battery or power but it should be smooth enough to raise the net quickly.

​@khaleefax9553 you should look into a product I use from something unrelated. I believe they are called ratcheting carabiner clips. The is a carabiner on each end but one of the end has a ratcheting mechanism, so you just pull the rope and it ratchets/lock at any given point with a latch to release to make it longer. Hope that makes sense.
