no job is ever as simple as it's supposed to be. this started out as a straightforward brushing out of our dryer vent, but didn't end that way.
watertight box -- backwards building a travel trailer, volume "minus one"
Переглядів 353 роки тому
this is a terrible video and i know that. it's part of a total travel trailer rebuild and i'm posting it early and unedited to show a group a couple of the principles incorporated in our "backwards rebuild" process for this little trailer. two points to be made: first, notice the brown "X" marks inside. these are captive nuts mounted in the frame that will allow secure fastening from the inside...

i don't endorse this product. this is just a simple offering about a simple upgrade for your oldschool travel trailer

Used these directions to put a new fuel pump in my 97 K2500 - - took me about an hour - - and I took my time - and that included getting the tools ready. I used a circular saw with a metal blade, though - could control the depth of the cut better with this.

I've got people about to do mine in 30 minutes.... I'm disabled but how much would this cost at the shop ? With 1/2 tank of gas in it ? I haven't had time to check out prices but this truck has all new engines/parts so I'm keeping her... lol, peace

@@diggydice9041 a shop will do it the usual way - by dropping the tank and changing the pump that way - - unsure what the shop charges for labor, but it is usually listed as a 3 hour job, I believe - they should be able to tell you up front how much it will be - - -

@@davejyd ~ well, since I 1st posted to you, they cut the hole & changed the pump/filters..... I hear her running & the bed liner is being put back..... I'm paying $350 + parts but that's probably a "deal"? You did a good job here. I've got a 95 Silverado and now I can say that if the truck is over 15 yrs old, cut the hole. Cuz all the bolts to take the bed out or drop the tank will be subject to breaking/stripping out. thanks for the reply... subbed
