Parkside Market had its soft opening and we are checking out the new eats & drinks. Evan also checks out the two new retail location behind the market. Link to Parkside Market website with dining location menus: www.parksidemarketla.com
Turtle Talk is the BEST! The repeat value alone is fantastic. You really never know what's gonna happen.
Great summary Evan. Loved your Chat GPT Challenge. Fun to watch you and Becca at the parks. Maybe do short in person reviews of your top picks with Videos for enhancement!! I want to see the environment of Naples Pepperoni Pizza (Shout out to Fascio!) Many families don't know how much the overall atmosphere has changed. Also maybe compare parking options and time to the main gate. Sometimes the logistics of just getting in are taxing for non locals. Places to view parades and Fireworks? . I disagree with you on character breakfasts. I think for young families that are staying on property Story Tellers Cafe is a must do one morning of a multi day trip if they still offer it. Some kids are scared of the characters in the park and the lines can be very long which can take you away from rides and other activities. Story Tellers gives the adults a minute to rest, get a good meal and gives the kids 1:1 time with the characters without being rushed and better engagement with them.
I remember seeing the mandalorian and grogu!! I was on the phone and started screaming and hung up 😂😂 lol so awesome!
The more characters the better!
This is nice but the sound isn’t the greatest. 🎉 still enjoying your videos 😊
@@QueenRosyy ugh I know!!! I tried to edit it and make it decent. Next time… haha Thanks for the support!
Loved this video! ❤ so awesome and adventurous haha
Glad you enjoyed it!
Challenge Accepted! I love your enthusiasm!!! You guys are hard core 8 am on Saturday!! They let you in with a selfie stick? I would say the other rope drops may be Mania, Incredicoaster, or Guardians
It is just a handle that doesn’t extend, so it is fine. Mania would be a good one to rope drop! That anttraction always gets busy.
Becca drinks her coffee really slow. I know there's more problematic problems in the world.....but there's gotta be some way to fix that.
You should have gone to Turtle Talk. I LOOOOOVE that show!! ChapGPT is biased.
We had to comply with our future AI overlords! Next time!
How late did the coffees keep you up that night?!!! 😂
downtown disney is so different now!! 😍
It was weird getting coffee from where we used to shop at SugarBoo haha
Thx you for all the info 🎉
Great review Evan. DCA has way better food than Disneyland. I can see why this was more of a foodie review. I 1000% agree with you on World of Color. Walt's good night for the evening. The first one was the best and a celebration of all things Disney choreographed by the amazing music and soundtracks from Disney and Pixar films. Core Memory for sure! Lots of places in DCA to get out of the heat. Ride favorites for sure. Incredicoaster (favorite of all time and smooth), Soaring, Still love the nostalgia of the swings. Catch a show at the Hyperion to beat the heat. For me my skip is Spiderman web slingers. Lame, random, and really don't know how it is accurately scoring anything.
Love the opinions, Ev! I am so happy you mentioned Flag Retreat. It is one of my favorite things we do at the Park as a Company. And as a proud kid of a veteran with a lot of vets in my life AND Main Street CM, I cannot stress enough how much this ceremony means to me. Highly recommend. Especially on Memorial Day or Veterans Day if you want a good cry! And it’s usually at 4:15p every day but it depends on the time of year because it is before sunset. ALSO, fun fact! They only lower that flag because it is the only real one on Main Street! The others that you see that are left flying either don’t have enough stars or stripes and therefore they are not real and do not need to be taken down every day! Check it out next time you’re on Main Street! ❤
We have been going to Disneyland since 2004. Listening to cast members past and present will definitely elevate your experience. I have learned about so many gems from them. As a Navy family (Veteran) never knew about flag retreat and will try to go every time from now on. Very moving ceremony. I think it is every day at 5 pm. So much respect for those that have served. Highly recommend!!! All of the food at Disneyland has gotten better over the years. One of my favorites is tomato basil soup and grilled cheese at Jolly Holiday on Main Street and the Monte Cristo Sandwich which is now available in New Orleans square (not just a Blue Bayou). Mint Julep Bar? California Adventure still has better food options IMO. I have 2 tips. Plan a multi day trip with park hopping if at all possible. You miss so much magic trying to do everything in one day. Yes the rides are great, but only a small part of the experience. Number 2, I am sure will be controversial but here it goes. Put your phones down and look around. Disneyland is an immersive experience meant to be an escape from reality. Accept the gift. Lean into the storytelling, the magic, the wonder. Look at the kids eyes that are experiencing this for the first time. Leave your worries outside the park gates, they will be there when you get back. Allow yourself to tap into that inner child and behold the nostalgia of simpler times. Great Job Evan. Cant wait to see the next one!!
Hiiiiii!!! Said friend here at the park watching the video while eating girl dinner
Where’s Becca’s leash?! You can’t let her run wild or she’ll get lost 😅
@@maguillon04 I just have to say “I’ll buy you coffee” and she will come running back.
I did checked out Parkside Market and I got the chicken sandwich meal from GG's Chicken Shop. It was taste good and it has waffle fries and Coca-Cola Classic.
That’s great you had a good experience at GG’s. Thanks for watching our video :-)
You two have a good vibe! And I looooove your denim :)
Thank you! The denim is a vintage shirt from the Disney Store that I bought 2nd hand. It’s seriously one of my favs! Thanks for supporting the channel.
Thank you for sharing some of the new options in downtown Disney! We are east coasters who will be heading over DL in just a few weeks for race weekend. We will definitely be checking out Parkside Market - those dumplings look so good! I really enjoyed your vibe and style - you guys are naturals! I look forward to seeing more videos!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed our first vid. Looking forward to bringing you more content :-)
