I read her auto biography... Fabulous Writer
Wow😍😍
I hope most of you notice this person is a transformer. Look at his head, his voice, his attitude
I feel so close to her ( Talullah) I remember when I was old enough to drink I was her for Halloween one year and I did not step out of character all night with my long gown and eye makeup with my champagne glass and cigarette and saying that I had my Bubbly Dah-ling have a glass of Bubbly with me. My ex said that he fell in love with me that night. Hahahaha!! 😂❤😂 I wish more people knew who she was. Even people my age mud 40’s don’t know who she was. It makes me feel sad that kids these days don’t know about early Hollywood movies and legends. Anyway, I came here to say that I believe that I might embody her in a way. I have always been the rebellious type and I’m a smoker but I don’t want to be. I am trying to quit but every thing else about Talullah is me in a way. Eccentric opinionated, rebellious, loving, beautiful, and kind of funny and witty. She was a True Legend in her day and she always will be to me. 🖤⭐️🖤⭐️🖤⭐️
Now do one on Jew Hollywood's representation of: Evangelical Christians. AND White Southerners. And Muslims, too.
NOOOOOOO! THAT WOULD GO AGAINST THE NARRATIVE! 😱😱😱
How about a movie about Stand Watie?
Lone Watie
I wish they'd make a movie about her!
It is Lucille Ball impersonating Tallulah in one of the clips (from the I Love Lucy show ) .
Thanks for posting! I love Tallulah- my favorite actress!!
God Bless her Darling, Tallulah was my 4th cousin.
How come Tallulah Bankhead and Bette Davis often looks like the same person?
I love the Transatlantic accent of Tallulah and of many actors in the US.
"If I may be wiiiiildly optimistic I would say that I was diviiiinely impossible." ❤
Diosa.
Have a wonderful day :D
Have been taking my dog to run and play at a church down the road from my house for years now. 3 days ago a guy was putting gifts on a grave site and my dog ran up to him since he is so friendly. Well the grave happened to be Tallulah Bankheads!!!! I always heard there was a famous actress who was buried here but never really thought to look for it until a few days ago! And after some research here we are!
Actually it was pretty cool
ugh amazing as always
Thank you!!!
The more I learn about Tallulah the more respect I have for her. He peers were smoke and daggers type where she was unapologetically herself.
P r o m o s m
Electric onstage, La Bankhead was just too OTT and one-dimensional for the screen. Davis shared some of her attributes, ( that's why they film cast her in Bankhead stage triumphs ) but she had a vulnerability under the carapace and its this tension that energises her performances.
I think she was so beautiful! She used her political connections from her family to help people escaping the war. She was really happy to help! I LOVE that she called “All About Eve”, “All About Me”! 😹😹😹. When she was diagnosed with a terrible case of ghynorea and had a hysterectomy, she told the Dr, “Please don’t think this taught me any lessons.” 😹😹 I can go on and on… she was just an original! Love her.
Nicely composed shots!! I'd recommend lowering the FPS for more of a film than video look, but dropping you a like!
amazing as always
aw thank you!!
Was she the doppelganger to Bette Davis?
A kind women
Excellent work. Great editing job, too!
Isn’t she the inspiration for cruella de vil
That is a fact! In voice and tone, but not in manner and personality. Tallulah loved animals, had a dozen different ones including dogs, cats, birds and a lion and wouldn't hurt a fly. Her catchphrase darling, and her infamous smoking and husky voice were a major influence for Cruella. The car Cruella drives also was an influence from Tallulah's car she drove as well, which I believe is now stored in a secure Disney warehouse.
@@juliaschnarr I just meant her mannerisms
What a character !.. Interesting woman.
Indeed. Tallulah was a spunky lady. Hence what drew my interest about her.
This was an amazing UA-cam discovery for me! This is a cool assignment, I would love to take this class haha. You did wonderful! Your version of the trailer captures the heart of the story more and I think if the official one had this style, perhaps more people would understand the story more and go to the theaters to see it. Great job!
all of these "i think she'd have me say this.." assumptions are just as ridiculous as the next. if lucille couldn't get it, how could you?
I tried to insert myself when appropriate, but I did all my research straight from the book of Ms. Bankhead herself, and the life in which she lived from numerous sources to be factually and historically accurate.
Tallulah was a unique star.
Very unique, indeed. When it comes to comparing, she's like lucille ball in a way - there's nobody to compare her to, yet you can compare others TO her
Tallulah Was one cool lady of her time and didnt care about rules or what people knew about her.rest in peace Tallulah Godbless You Amen 🕊🕊🕊🕊🦋🌹🐬🌻🦋🕊
What a nice tribute. I do hope she rests well as well
Loved her in the movie "Lifeboat"
Me as well! Her laugh - bahahaha. Classic
I had the luck to come across Miss Bankhead at Maple Hill Cemetery as she was visiting her father resting place. She noticed my little brother and thought he was a darling little boy. It was a thrill of a lifetime for the young Huntsville, Alabama teenager.
Congratulations on meeting her! I wish so much I could've seen her perform. I was born too late. The Alabaman community seems to remember her well in their memory, like it was yesterday I've come to find
Definitely subscribing dahling
My favourite Talu hada dinner prty The caterer was a No Show.So she cooked. Half way through she walked into the guests Flour all over her A spatula in her hand and Said +++FUCK Betty Crocker++ Loved it
this was a beautiful pice . thank you. you made a great start to my day!
I'm so glad. Thank you for watching :)
Loved her in Lifeboat and spot in Hollywood Canteen A lady who lived life her way
I've seen Lifeboat twice and that film was her favorite she said she was in. She won an award for it, but never an Oscar due to being too much of an outsider in Hollywood
Thank You for this!!! A Long time Tallulah FannIt is excellent!! The photo's and Interview footage !!!! Fantastic
Thank you for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed this about Tallulah
She was fabulously funny and a wit -but too many faces in this doc taking about her as opposed to she doing it herself.
I only wish Tallulah were still alive to form her creative opinion on this film. Thankfully, I referenced her autobiography to make up for lost words
🤮🤮🤮💩💩💩💩💩💩🤮🤮🤮😲😯😧😧😧😧🤢
Betty Davis was born in Lowell, Massachusetts, off of Westford Street. She lived In a very nice house. Not a Mansion. According to todays standards. Her house was very nice. I've seen the inside and outside. Of course, others live there during my time... Not sure if they were related to her or not.
It's a question, actually, if the two were related. They look very similar and it's entirely possible the two could've been distant cousins. I guess we'll never know
What a lovely Tallulah Bankhead mini-psyop. Thank you ❤. She was one in a million. RIP.
You're welcome, thank you for the watch. Indeed, one in a million, even today
I may be incorrect but Melanie Griffith is her daughter
Tallulah Bankhead never had any children to carry on her name :) Tippie Hedren was Melanie Griffith's mother. Thank you for watching!
Thank you.
You're welcome. :)
Thank YOU! :)
She loved life the way she wanted. Respect
Was an honor to speak a bit about Tallulah here! Thank you for helping more people discover her, Julia!
Of course, Carrie! You added a little fun to the film, I thank you for that. Brava!
@@juliaschnarrI’m 58 years old and have loved Miss Tallulah Bankhead since I was a child! Thank you for this and for keeping Tallulah alive!
my pleasure :) @@toddgiaro7657
She knew that the key to theatrical success was to BE YOURSELF! And 'herself' happened to be extremely individual and authenntic. By being herself she got away with one hell of a lot. Brava!
