      @@JNPrettyOnTop Nice to hear that you are better. Boreliosis bacteria have 4 transformation forms, 1 the biofilm form - can be dissolved by heat = sport and sauna and healthy plant-based food with secondary plants that interfere with the comication in the bio film. Substances / polyphenols. 2 The spirochete form that produces neurotoxins and some of which can be fought with the immune system but also essential oregano oil in food quality helps 1-4 drops. 3 The protective shield shape, unfortunately I am not quite sure how to fight this shape but I think it will be difficult without medicinal herbs. 4 The sleeping form is harmless because the Boreliose sleeps insidious about it, it can survive for a few weeks to months and let us believe that we will be healthy until the disease breaks out again get further treatment.

      Calvin Gauss Thank you; if you had watched all my videos you would see that I am taking medicinal herbs as well as things to fight Lyme in all three forms-spirochete, cyst, and biofilm. @Calvin Gauss you are grossly uneducated on the topic. Half of what you’ve said contradicts itself, and the other half is just plain inaccurate. Stop telling someone with chronic Lyme Disease - not Lime Desas, as you called it - how to treat the condition. Find a hobby. The chronic Lyme community suffers enough from the medical ineptitude of Western medical physicians. When one of us speaks out, to help others suffering, we don’t need the comment police trying to educate about an issue they are very misinformed on! If oregano and raw veggies treated our illness, we wouldn’t be sitting around still deathly sick & mourning the life we once had. You don’t get it til you get it. You cannot possibly think you’re right because you have friends of friends who beat it. We live it! And so many things factor into a chronic lyme diagnosis, vs initial onset. So kindly STFU. And use spell check next time.

      Calvin Gauss one month is not the same as chronic cases. Once you’ve gone undiagnosed for anything more than 2-3 years there is zero cure. I’m not the one being mean. Seeing as you’re from another country perhaps your etiquette is different, but it is extremely rude and also nonsensical to ask someone chronically ill “is you dead” ... I apologize for saying the part about using spell check, but you’re trying to advise how to cure an incurable condition & haven’t even spelt the disease name correctly. Anyhow, am glad that you were able to find a cure. For those newly diagnosed, there is a lot of hope these days, for full recovery. So you got lucky. Those of us who went over 10 years being dismissed by doctors and misdiagnosed are just trying our best to treat symptoms. We cannot cure the condition. No cure exists. Anyhow take care & best of luck with your future. Next time maybe just think about what you are googling / typing in regards to the context. This video doesn’t have anything to do with helping newly diagnosed patients reach full remission. Comments indicating that essential oils etc are a cure, on a video about chronic Lyme, are very misleading. Thanks!

It’s not as bad as it was that first time, but it’s been annoying. 😅

      Viktoriya Lema Thank you so much! And oh hugs, I’m so sorry you’re having to go through this too. : ( Update: the last time I shaved my head was January 11, 2019. I’ve had enough energy to wash it since then, so I’ve let it grow and it’s almost 6 inches long now. I’m still shedding a ton, but that’s going to be the norm for another 5+ years, or however long treatment takes. As long as I have the energy to wash it I’m just going to let it grow. Health update: I’ve been starting a new round of treatment (mostly the same as what I outlined in my other videos) every spring and just toughing it out for as many months as I can, until I can’t look at another pill. Then I stop for the year and give myself a break until the next year rolls around. So far I’ve seen slow but steady improvements every year while doing it this way, so I’m going to keep doing it like that for the foreseeable future. In 2017 I would say my health was at maybe 15% of “healthy”, and now I’m closer to 40%. So it’s slow but it’s going in the right direction. So much sympathy, and do let me know if there’s anything you want to vent/chat/ask about!

    So does science know for sure whether Lyme builds up biofilm to protect itself or whether the body itself builds up biofilm to protect it from the spirochettes? The forner makes more sense from what we know today, but still I sometimes wonder if the latter is possible and if most cancers are actually forms of Lyme since they do the same thing. If not, I believe many forms of Lyme will lead to cancer anyway due to the chronic bodily inflammation and build up of cysts that keep increasing and never go away.

      Yes the borrelia bacterias just like most of the bacterias known can form biofilms to protect themselves in the nature and more critically in living tissues to survive and persist. Biofilms can be grown in labs out of the bacterias colonies, hence demonstrating this ability for sure.

      Gina2190 Good question! I’ve not heard or read anything about any good bacterial biofilms, only bad ones. I’m not all better yet. The longer you’ve had Lyme the longer it takes to treat. I’m looking at 5-8 more years of treatment before I can hope to hit remission. But so far what I’ve been doing is helping-I feel much better than I did at this time two years ago. I can’t lead a somewhat normal life yet; but I’m out of most of the pain I was in two years ago, and standing up long enough to make tea doesn’t exhaust me anymore. Baby steps!

      J N Pretty On Top hiya , wow , this is an evil illness. Me and my daughter so far are not too bad, I’m loosing all my hair and teeth etc but physically I’m not floored just yet. However my partner is far far sicker, he’s 6 foot 2 and 6 and a half stone, just bones , he’s on peg feeding to the tummy but the moment anything goes in he reacts real bad with nausea. So it’s not working out. He’s already has a heart attack and lungs collapse. But he says he feels like he’s dying , sometimes Babesia causes that. Im in the uk where there’s a cover up going on , no doctor will say that you have Lyme or co infections but I know it’s this. I spent 5 years researching all the symptoms and this illness fits completely. Im struggling to remember anything at all and am worried I will loose my partner. I’m just about to start treating with herbs etc but I’m so unsure where to start. Maybe parasite cleanse and biofilm first. See if you hit the biofilms do you need to be ready to kill any stealth microbes straight away ? Only surely if they are moving freely around the body it would be worse ? Also this has gone to the brain, my hubby has has 2 months solid migraines! Poor thing. I’m not sure what to do , what even passes the blood brain barrier? He’s so weak and bed bound yet we just lost his brother, he collapsed with a stomach bleed and that caused brain damage. Machine had to be switched off , very sad.Of course autopsy never said Lyme or co infections but I know Babesia and Lyme cause aortic embolisms etc. His dad just had a stroke too clots on brain. This illness is deadly yet no help in London at all. I’m pleased to hear that your doing a bit better than you first were. I hope you get your life back. If you have any ideas how to start treating all this and what best things to buy are please say. I’ve only got about £200 to spend so not a lot really. Any ideas How to start ? Cheers :)

    • @JNPrettyOnTop
      @JNPrettyOnTop 5 років тому

      Gina2190 Awww so much sympathy for you and your partner! This really is an evil illness. The absolute most important first step is to get your bodies started detoxing. Every system in your bodies is overwhelmed by the endotoxins released by the Lyme (and other) bacterias as they eat their way through your cells. So you need to find ways to detox your colon and digestive system, your liver, your kidneys, and your skin and lymphatic system, and you need to do them all, every day. On my channel I have a Lyme treatment playlist, which is all the videos I made when I first started treatment. They are numbered, and the order I numbered them is the order I would recommend for adding things into your treatment plan. Biofilms should be the last step, because breaking them up will release more bacteria and toxins into your system, so your body needs to be in a place where it can handle that extra load. I would also recommend joining some Lyme support groups on Facebook so you can access the collective resources and knowledge available. That’s where I learned most of what I’m doing, along with quintuple-checking everything via google. Everyone’s body is different, and everyone is dealing with a different specific set of infections, so your specific treatment should depend largely on which infections are currently giving you the worst symptoms. As you get one infection slightly under control, symptoms of a different one may get worse. The important thing when treating is to remember to GO SLOWLY. We can’t win this battle in a day or a week or even a couple years, and our bodies need a lot of TLC to fight through. Don’t start 7 things at once. Add one dose of one thing a week (or a fraction of a dose, if you’re really doing badly), and expect that you may feel worse for a few days. If you have a good detoxing regimen in place, you should start feeling a little better in a few days to a week, and then can add the next dose or fraction of a dose.

      J N Pretty On Top thank you very kindly, I will work on detoxification first. I’m going to try to get Mold and Lyme toxins out first. Then I’m going to come back to rest of your important message. I hope u don’t mind me getting back to you, I may do. Hope your getting well, Cheers 4 help :)

    • @JNPrettyOnTop
      @JNPrettyOnTop 5 років тому

      Gina2190 No worries! Do what you need to do!! Please note that killing bacteria is a different step than detoxing. Killing bacteria will produce more toxins on top of the ones already in your system.

    Hey! Just seeing this-thanks so much for putting up your protocols, it’s super helpful! In case you are still struggling though- I did notice that two of the supplements you are taking contain folic acid, so I just wanted to recommend getting tested for the MTHFR mutation in case you haven’t already! I have the homozygous mutation so any folic acid I take basically just shuts my body down (I make sure what I’m taking as folate instead). I know it’s a pretty common mutation amongst people struggling with Lyme, so I thought I’d share JUST in case!!! Hope you are doing well and on the way to recovery!!

    Just saying that 30 days of AB is not going to cut it is a little dangerous. I got diagnosed with Lyme straight away, and they started me on 30 days of ABs and I'm doing just fine now, where the Lyme is concerned at least. I would go see a doctor if I were you and find one who is willing to start the AB treatment up again. It might be somewhat of a search, but I'm willing to bet it is worth it. I fear all those herbs are just not going to cut it, or you'd feel better already.

    • @JNPrettyOnTop
      @JNPrettyOnTop 6 років тому

      Marleen G. I understand where you’re coming from, but please note that I said it won’t cut it IF you’ve had Lyme for any length of time. Obviously that was not the case for you. Once Lyme has become chronic, as it has in my case, it is extremely difficult to treat because it’s not just in your bloodstream anymore; it drills its way into your soft tissues and sets up camp in your joints, your organs, and your nervous system. I’ve had it so long that if I were to seek out AB treatment from an LLMD they would most likely put in a port and put me on IV antibiotics for 5 years. I considered going that route, but it’s incredibly expensive, and I would have to travel 4-6 hours away to find a doctor who would do it. It would also leave my body as wrecked afterwards as if I’d gone through chemo. There is no quick solution for chronic Lyme, unfortunately. I’ve had it for 22 years, so no matter what form of treatment I choose it will take a minimum of 5 years before I feel substantially better-likely longer. In the support groups there are cases of people who have done IV antibiotics for that length of time and hit remission, but there are just as many cases of people who have done herbal treatments similar to what I’m doing who have also hit remission. I chose this route because it’s gentler on the body while still being effective, and because it’s far cheaper than any other form of treatment. It may not show in the videos since my brain fog is so bad, but I’ve done my homework for each thing I’m taking, and for each of them when I started taking them I knew exactly why. I may not remember now, but I trust my past self. Lol!

      Yes, and babesia, bartonella, and EBV, and that's all I got tested for! I have been real sick for 3 years, but may have had one or more of the bugs before that, no way of knowing. I don't know how I never found your channel, I am watching a bunch of your videos this evening. I have been making some videos also, trying to help fellow lymies.

I’m not surprised you never found my channel, as I only started making videos related to Lyme a few weeks ago. XD I’m glad you’re making videos too! I’ll have to check those out. @JNPrettyOnTop 6 років тому

      Kathy Latham Thanks!! I haven’t yet because it’s incredibly expensive. My current treatment method is the cheapest and easiest, and has been effective so far, so I’m going to give that a good long try first. Things like stem cell therapy, hyperbaric chambers, ozone treatment, and hyperthermia are my last resort for if nothing else works, as they’re so expensive and require extensive travel.

      @JNPrettyOnTop 6 років тому

      Marleen G. Not too curious at all!! I’m hoping to talk more in depth about my own treatment in my next few videos. I felt like I had to do a sort of introduction as to why Treatment is so complicated first. I’m treating with antibacterial and antifungal herbs. They’re basically herbal antibiotics, but people don’t seem to call them that for some reason.

  • @amixeblu
    @amixeblu 6 років тому

    I hope you come across a doctor willing to treat you; best wishes from someone who had acute Lyme (and prompt 30day AB treatment) :) - Should anything ever be weird or pop up that I can't link to my other 2 conditions, I will attend the doctor to the Lyme issue. Thank you for making these videos.

      Marleen G. Thank you so much!! Hopefully you won’t have any more issues! 💜 Even if there were a doctor nearby who would treat me, I would probably choose to self-treat, at least for now. Lyme-Literate Doctors (LLMDs) are incredibly expensive, probably 3-4x what I’m currently spending on treatment, maybe more. (I’m spending about $200-$300/week right now.)

    I hate it when somebody goes to lots of doctors, paying out gobs of money, not getting any answers. Lyme Disease is BAD STUFF! :o I had a friend who got lyme disease, but her hair stayed thick. She did end up dying of kidney failure, but I don't know if the lyme had anything to do with it.

      Teresa Mikelson Aww your poor friend! I’m sorry to hear that. :( Lyme does affect every system in your body, if you have it untreated for long enough, or if you get a form of it that wreaks havoc on your body really fast. It tends to target weaknesses already present in your system.

    Can I ask with what medications they are treating your Lyme? I got a 30-day course of antibiotics when they discovered it (right on time, spring I got bitten, summer I got the rash, then the blood test followed and the AB were started). I don't have any issues currently and during all that time of discovery I even had less migraines. I normally have very consistent hormonal migraines, but from when the bite occurred to treatment I barely had any! Now it's back on track, though. Oh, well, if that's the only thing, I'll take it. I do also have a disability & CRPS (complex regional pain syndrome) in both legs & arms. And Menière's to boot. Enough to deal with. Ugh. :(

    • @JNPrettyOnTop
      @JNPrettyOnTop 6 років тому

      Marleen G. Oh, I’m so sorry you have to deal with CRPS and Menière’s, and also migraines! That’s definitely enough to deal with! :( My doctor would only give me the standard 30 days of Doxycycline, which isn’t enough to even begin to cure Lyme when I’ve had it for 22 years. 30 days of Doxy only works if you’ve had Lyme for less than a year and still have the acute-stage symptoms. And even then it doesn’t always work. I can’t afford a doctor who will treat chronic Lyme effectively, and can’t physically travel to see one anyway; so I’ve been doing my own research and getting the advice of people in the support groups, and from all of that combined I’ve been coming up with my own treatment plan. Chronic Lyme is very complex to treat, so I’ll try to do a video about that sometime soon.

    • @amixeblu
      @amixeblu 6 років тому

      I couldn't hack the Doxy (couldn't keep it down), so the doctor gave me Augmentin to follow that one, and that's how I finished the round. Yeah, it's tough treating Lyme. Not many doctors "believe" anything more than 30 days is useful. They say after that many days the little "critter" is dead, even though the Lyme is still in your body. And then they give you a whole "Spiel" about antibiotics not being good for you and that they should not be wasted like that. Not my doctor, he still believes in ABs, but I had a replacement at the time as my doc was on vacation. I'll be watching that video!

    • @JNPrettyOnTop
      @JNPrettyOnTop 6 років тому

      Marleen G. Ugh, Doxy is the worst!! I had trouble keeping it down too. Had to take it with peanut butter and stay upright for 2 hours after. Even then it made me nauseated. Yes, doctors don’t believe in chronic Lyme, but it’s not really their fault because they trust the CDC; and the CDC is completely refusing to acknowledge chronic Lyme.

    • @amixeblu
      @amixeblu 6 років тому

      Oh gosh, they are refusing to believe there is such a thing? What about all those people. There is another girl on here, hang on (looking it up), it's Erica Fae - ua-cam.com/users/wallaceef and she has chronic lyme as well, and had to basically leave her channel until she got better; she did get better (but got IV ABs I think). It affected her speech (I hope she didn't take those videos down). But you could look into it, maybe. It's been a while since I watched her.

    • @JNPrettyOnTop
      @JNPrettyOnTop 6 років тому

      Marleen G. Yeah, there are thousands of people with chronic Lyme, but according to the CDC we’re all just crazy hypochondriacs. *eye roll* In the support groups I’m in there are a lot of success stories, some involving IV abx, and many involving other alternative treatments. I’ve gathered it’s all about finding what works for your particular body and your particular set of symptoms and illnesses.

    Good luck achieving this week's targets! The small steps are important. I need to get back to doing my physio strengthening exercises every day, but like you wish it was possible to go all out rather than a little bit. It reminds me of how little I can do compared to even this time last year. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and a lot of symptoms are similar to Lyme and CFS. My dear friend, stay positive, you've taken the best course for YOU, and you have a beautiful skull, looks awesome shaven short! I have done this too, in the military, back then the base salon was the worst, gave me a perm a week after talking me into dyeing it platinum blonde over my own medium blonde. What a disaster, some of the perm rollers fell off with my hair still rolled around them!! YIKES! So yes, it was time to shave it all off. Hubby did the deed. And back then it all grew well over a half-inch a month. Thankfully I did learn that my natural fine hair is too fragile to dye or perm so that's why I left the increasing greys alone too. Hang tough, you already have some improvement! BTW have you had a test for Epstein-Barr Virus syndrome (EBV)? This was the diagnosis I got after supposedly coming down with mono many decades ago following several blood transfusions in surgeries. Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN) is what the neurologist said was the medical cause of the icepick in the eye symptom we share. It's so painful I would get vertigo as well. Occasionally complicated with an ocular migraine (which didn't hurt more thankfully but blocked my vision in that eye). The only treatments were Solu-Medrol drips. Still is the only effective treatment, but the side effects are nearly worse. Nearly. My immune system is shot and now I'm allergic to the mold in my next apartment. LOL. It's always something, innit? Sending you lots of extra love&hugs and always know I'm right at your Messenger any time. <3 Love you, honey! <3

    • @JNPrettyOnTop
      @JNPrettyOnTop 6 років тому

      EA Mason P. Thank you so much, dear!! I’m not sure if the neurologist tested me for EBV or not, but I wouldn’t be surprised if she did. Regardless, my Lyme treatment should be comprehensive enough to cover EBV too if it’s in my system anywhere. The TN has eased up a lot with Lyme treatment, thank God! This time last year it was so bad I could barely cope with existing. (My phone isn’t letting me scroll down, so forgive me if I missed any part of your comment.) Thank you so much for your love and support. I know you’re in a better position to understand than a lot of people are. Hugs and prayers!!

    I got bitten by an infected tick this past spring. 2/3 months later I had a big red patch on my lower leg, covering almost all of it. The doctor said it was an a-typical rash but he would run a blood test anyway (thank God), which came back positive for Lyme. I had 30 days of antibiotics and I appear to be fine now (I do have a disability due to other circumstances). The rash is gone now but where the patch was still itches like hell from time to time. I hope I'm fine. Wishing you well.
