im very inspired by this video.. im so jealous that you got to see slowdive! i love how you edited your video to the concert audio, i also did that in one of my vids! it feels more like im experiencing your moment. this makes me want to paint my dreams - i had one very vivid one in an expansive pink desert while it was pouring rain, there was a volcano erupting in the distance with giant white birds flying from it to come eat me alive. im not sure what meaning that has but it may be worth it to explore :) keep making what you make

they dont want anyone to know, but you can just build a subwoofer/buy an amp and feel chest shaking bass whenever u want my recurring dream from childhood was coming upon a traincrash, looking through it and seeing a goblin-like figure with a glowing white-green egg. Always seemed a bit evil like the train was keeping it contained and now its going to spread... anyways lol nice video

Why am i here???

i think i could probably benefit from asking myself more - what darker part of my subconscious is not something (someone?) that needs much exploring, but is a place I don't actually want to go because I love turning the searching into its own game of avoidance. not to decry the whole search, it's beautiful and important and necessary, but there is a point where you have to step outside of yourself a bit. edit: maybe on a more related note, I remember a dream I had one time where I was in my 9th grade English class, the teacher was a really mean woman, but instead of her teaching the class it was someone that was out of my sight, or like his back was turned to me, but I knew it was the writer and speaker Christopher Hitchens, who has this very distinct voice and demeanor, and I've always found him very compelling even if I don't agree with him. the scene was very peaceful and beautiful, the colors were pleasant. and then I googled him that next day and it was actually the anniversary of his death. weird.

We all have darkness. Jungian psychology is cool.

I was sitting by a creek when, about fifty yards away I noticed alder bark with a face on it, among a tight bunch of medium size trees. I went back to my car and retrieved my monocular and took a closer look. Sure enough there were two eyes, a downturned mouth and a wide nose. I was amazed and gazed at it for a time before panning left to see what else I might see. When I panned back it was gone. I thought it was on a tree. I searched for several minutes before giving up. Do you believe in Sasquatch? I do, and they can be very metaphysical, and that includes their visitations in dreams. You are an amazing artist! ❤

a majority of the art i make is automatic it's cool to hear someone talk about it! in addition to the benefit of evading the pitfalls of my consciousness i also find it incredibly meditative/therapeutic

I have been recording my dreams for about 3 years now. I put all of them in ChatGPT one day and it found several themes that were common in all of the dreams. I would suggest trying that, its pretty surprising.
