Thank you so much very much appreciated
Thank you
Hi There just wanted to know the clutch issue you mention happen at what temperature? thanks
@@winsomey6801 Hi. It happens when the engine is cold. I let it warm up and after 5 minutes it's as good as gold.
You know damn well you aint leaning that beast like them chicken strips are showing us..🤨🤔😮
yep
Diciamo che è difficile imbruttirla..ci sei quasi riuscito!😅
Enjoying the ride 😊
Ok forse ho un po' esagerato 😂😂😂
❤
Loving the tshirt!
I ride a 2023 BMW RNineT. Looking to add a sporty/modern type bike to go along with the retro styled Bimmer.
@@Surfkid16 I like the RNineT racer! Wouldn't mind a go on one to see what it's like. May be worth you having a look at the ducati to see if you like it
Every single person on UA-cam complains about the mirrors on this bike...Just replace them with nicer mirrors!!! Problem solved.
Nice bike, good video! Dont know if i soent too much time in London but I wouldnt share a video with such a nice bike which pretty much tells people where it is. Too many light fingered scumbags out and about. Some handy to know things that you have shared here, which you might not get from a test ride tah! Nice1 stay safe and i hope you keep enjoying the bike! 😎👍
Thanks for the comment. Hope some of the things I mentioned help in some way!
Currently scooting around on a Suzuki dr650 that's set up like an adventure bike. Wanting something a little more exciting for road use and this Ducati has me tempted
Thanks for the comment, I'd highly recommend a SSS!
I’m currently on a 2013 Ducati Monster 796. I’m looking at either a new Honda CBR650r (e-clutch) or a 2017 Ducati Supersport S. Both would cost me around 10k euro. Hard choice.
Thanks for the comment! That is a hard choice indeed. I love the looks, style and sound of the Ducati. The Honda also looks like a great bike. Have you had a test ride on either bike?
@@TwoWheelZeall Not yet. Only sat on both and clip-on height / comfort seem similar. Pegs also seem similar. Have owned BMW S1000r and pegs were strangely high…previous to that was Kawasaki ZX6R which was a killer after 250km in saddle. I’m 55 now. Comfort is important but so is soul…
Got one in Feb had to get the lowered seat. Need to get a lowering kit though for more stability. I love it
Glad you like it. They are great bikes!
Really good 😊
he's so cuteee and fluffyyyy:D
Hi mate, just come across your video, was pretty bored going through SS videos and watched this… I’m from Alvechurch and share some of your commute but I head out to kidderminster. I have a red SSS with ackro’s but the shotgun type, from what I’ve heard they don’t sound any different? If you wanted to meet up for a ride sometime let me know!
Thanks for watching and commenting. I was thinking about the akro's but have also heard there isn't much different. How do you find the clutch on it when it's cold. I personally thinks it's pretty aggressive but fine when warmed up! I'll get in touch to meet up for a ride when the weather is better for sure!
@@TwoWheelZeall The clutch is a nightmare when cold! There is a steep junction at the start of my commute and it looks like I’ve just started riding a manual bike again every time I come to it even stalling on the odd occasion. It’s perfect when it’s warmed up though. I think the new 950 got better with the hydraulic clutch. I have issues with some false neutrals sometimes and also the dreaded fuel sender unit playing up every now again. It’s booked in for MOT and service at Duc Worcs on Wednesday so will see if they sort it then.
Nice bike ur riding very slow mate
I am over 50, are recommend that beautiful bike for my weekend ride?
im 36, got a slipped disc and i did choose the supersport s over the panigale. im more than happy with my choice. no backpain whatsoever 🙂
Nice vid yes iam trying to get back in to riding looking supersport 950s 23 or 24 with stripes
You won't regret it!
Interested in this bike but wondered how it would fare for a pillion. Don’t want to tour just leisurely Sunday ride out with the wife
Hi 👋 thanks for the comment. I think you will be fine with a pillion. I've spoken to a few people that do this and there are no issues. The bike is comfy enough, it will just require a little adjustment on the rear shock
@@TwoWheelZeall thanks for your reply. Looks like a test ride 😃
nice video. sorry your roads are so boring. some hills and curves would be more fun for you and us. that's the bike I'd like to add; more comfy than my sportbikes while lighter and sportier than my ninja 1000. i just cannot imagine bikes than weigh so much more than 250kg. the big harleys weigh 410kg!
Those particular roads are pretty boring for sure! Add it to your collection. You won't be disappointed!
Whats the engine braking like when closing the throttle?
Hi. Its not to bad to be honest.
@TwoWheelZeall that's good to hear, was looking at getting one of these in the near future but the last time I rode a vtwin it was a suzuki and the engine braking was horrible coming from a inline 4.
Nice detailed review, good job. Just get that pesky side stand changed.
Very true, next job I think!
Looks well smart.
Nice suit review. But should have got a matching Dainese.
There still may be time....
Think the GSXR is the best looking one. 😉
Hi, I have a 2017 SSS with full titanium Krakkas on it, the bike was Up-Mapped to the exhaust, its LOUD and the Duke is grumpy at low speed 😂. Im sure you will enjoy Stace's Channel, I enjoyed your vid and the countryside you ride through, thanks! 🍻
Hi 👋 thanks for watching. I have indeed seen Stace's channel, some great videos! I bet your SSS is very loud with that set up! I have a 2007 Aprilia RSVR Factory with twin Arrow Pipes, that's also very loud. I find it OK a low speed though. Thanks again for watching

Lol I test rode the super sport s a few weeks ago and kept hitting the horn. I also found the mirrors a little bit of a pain. It was amazing to ride.
Hi 👋. Thanks for watching. What were your final thoughts, are you going to get one? I also have ab 07 RSV R Factory Aprilia and the mirrors are solid!
Just pull the clutch if you have to look in the mirrors or turn your head. Its a sport bike, not a cruiser wtf.
Cool bike mate
Thank you very much
Please understand, im coming from a nice place, a fellow rider & someone who's purchased a 'dream bike' an it was too much bike for a lung cancer pt. (Did NOT know @ time of purchase!) But, like you, I had the ability to handle another purchase. I bought an Aprilia 660 Factory instead. 399#'s, wide upright bars- comfy seat, sexy tech- I ADORE it, manhandle the snot outta it & practice low speed manuevers! Maybe we should swap for a couple of days- im insured to the hilt. (Wife did it years ago- 2x $5k fender benders- i got used to less out of pocket!) So, i realize that you were thinking I was dissing your skills (mech. Aptitude + sensitive) but, I'm gonna scream if you don't leave it in 2nd & rev it/autoclutch over 5k RPM's. The engine sings, vibration goes way down (midrange- 4,500 -7,000?) & she moves quickly & confidently. Not suggesting hooliganism, just using the upper 1/2 of the rev range. It removes soot & carbon, it balances heat dissipation, it gets all of the parts properly mated, improves fuel economy. Wear & tear is considered in the black part of the RPM range, right?
Part of 'noting' your channel is the joy of watching a new riders growth. But, if you're afraid of the bike: no dropping, big safety bubble, limited braking, expensive replacement parts. Get a used Suzuki SV650, Kawa Versys (2 style choices-tourer or more street style. Grab a semi-beater to make mistakes on. Practice low speed drills on. At least put frame & wheel sliders on for peace of mind, right?
Sadly, you are riding on 'too much' bike. 5+ months & you can barely keep it upright. God forbid you lean into a turn to get out of rotary? At this point, i'd be looking at a 'lesser' bike for you to learn skills & get comfortable on a motorcycle. Please be super careful (you are too careful) 'til you get more experience!!!
Have you change setting on suspension?? A video about it will be great as there not many out there
Hi 👋 thanks for the comment. I've not changed anything yet in terms of suspension setup. I do think it's a little soft on the back though and want to stiffen it up. I could absolutely capture it on video and share
That will be great !!@@TwoWheelZeall
@@davidcohen5929 This is the Dave Moss Suspension Tuning video i used. I'm about the same weight as the guy in the video! This is perfect suspension setup for me and i have been using it for all sorts of riding. Oh I'm 100kg btw, 5'8 height ... ua-cam.com/video/TTB6sVNHJbc/v-deo.html ... If you want the quick version here is my settings for you to try : REAR Setting Now Previous Setting Max Setting Reason Back Adjuster 12 13 20 Compression Top Adjuster 6 10 14 Rebound FRONT Setting Now Previous Setting Max Setting Reason Right fork 5 6 6 Bounce Left fork 16 18 28 Compression 😁
If it was automatically adjusted to the speed it would make more sense.
I did a 400 mile round trip 2 Weekends ago and felt it made little to no difference. I mostly keep it in the down position. If you were really going some and down on the tank with it in the up position, it may well offer a little more protection
How much difference does that make?
A little bit of difference. I find it just deflects wind further up to be honest!
How is it for pillions?
Hi, thanks for watching and asking the question. I have not had a pillion on, having said that I would say there is plenty of room and it would be comfy. I do wonder though if you had panniers and a pillion? Suspension is easy enough to adjust should you want a pillion.
I’m like 1 , comment 1 and a new sub
What year is it?
Hi. It's a 2018. Thanks for watching!
Great video, I've just passed my test, in my early fifties, had decided on a triumph tiger sport 660, but the 950 supersport really turned my head, thought it would be ok for a newbie in urban mode to get some experience in. But (as your comment) I decided I want to ride more than use the car so wanted an everyday bike to get me on the road and get some miles under my belt, so have bought the tiger sport, going to look for 950s early next year, in white!!
Thanks for watching! congratulations on passing your test, its a great feeling. I think you have picked a great bike in the Triumph. I really like the Moto Morini X-Cape 650 and would mind one as an everyday bike!
Great video and nice bike! I have a 21 mt-09 which I love but the supersport to me is the best looking bike out there, it will be my next bike for sure, safe riding
Hi 👋 thanks for watching and commenting. The MT-09 are great bikes also. It is a lovely looking machine! Safe riding also
Can you snag a ride on a Moto Guzzi V100 Mandelo and make a comparison?
Hi 👋 I would love to get a ride on that guzzi. If I can I will make a comparison video and post it. The Ducati is a lovely bit of kit though. Thanks for watching
Cheers for the review, what are these like off the bike, easy to walk around in ?
Hi gix3r. Thanks for watching and asking the question. They are quite a light boot and off the bike are not too bad. They are pretty rigid but I wouldn't say are too uncomfortable. I had them on for 13 hours the other week and I was OK in them. I have a pair of SIDI Arcadian waterproof boots also. They are more casual but very comfy. I am planning on sticking a review up on these to. Andy
