Very interesting and nice system. Even on this app you can hear it is very analog and real and best most other systems on here.

I find this ridiculous. No matter what, the sound I hear is the sound produced by my system. Any device in the stream will induce distortion. It would be far better for you to just digitize the output of your turntable and feed that to the web. This would eliminate any distortion that your speakers and your microphone induce.

Better without the DDC........sorry.......I have read the comments below........seems about 50/50 prefer/don't prefer the DDC. I downloaded the video to eliminate the pesky UA-cam compression and listened to the video over and over and over again trying to pick out detail on instruments and vocals. Listening on a $60K home system.......ProAc speakers, Mark Levinson amps, Lexicon environment surround, Acoustat and upscale B&W environmental speakers, from a Mac USB going through a Pontus II. Personally it is impossible for me to evaluate the male lead vocalist as his voice is so breathy it sounds like he's trying to have oral sex with the microphone. Finally I focused on the percussion in the background......almost hidden.....and the attack of the snare drum and the brush of the Hi-hat cymbal are much more precise without the DDC. Sorry.....no offense.

The timbre is much more realistic on the Sugden - as I'd expect from a multibit DAC, so maybe there's some expectation bias at play.

The best is the stream. The CD is close but less well you can hear the end of notes on the guitar The vinyl has a little less dynamic and a little less clarity so it's also softer. But the difference is not huge

Luxman is much better no way, same for my brother in blind test ^^

Class A is in a different league.If you use Class A for a long time, then Other Class Won't Satisfy you

ASI warm sound Hifi stay open sound but I don't think Bal45 is suitable with the job. they recommend some thing else under CD player.

Sorry but you can't compare two amps on UA-cam. The sound quality depends on a number of factors , the sound processing done by UA-cam, our own equipment, the listening environment...It's difficult to appreciate the most subtle details of your equipment.

The first thing you should have done was to point out the price difference between the two amplifiers, I believe the Luxman is 3 times the price of the Kinki, and it is a class A vs a class AB amplifier, so you are not only comparing at different price levels, but also different amp classes. the manufacturers of Kinki should be proud of themselves.

Ok, I compared with the original track and both amps sound very bad, the Luxman yes better overall but louder and stereo image is not close compared to original track. Now, I presume you recorded this with your phone's integrated microphones ? If yes, it's like discribing the colors of a landscape when wearing sunglasses ;-)

Luxman, no question, such a significant difference.

Mate what speakers are you using? I have 590II as well thinking of pairing w some Dyns Contour 30s but concerns regarding power handling w Luxman. If anyone else can chime in as well itd be much appreciated.

I'm a big fan of most Luxman's pieces. Sometimes when two good pieces are compared it comes down to the synergy they have with a given speaker . Sometimes it can be dramatic

I prefer the airy open sound from the silver cable
