We Immigrated to Australia! | Life Update | Filipinos Living Abroad
A lot has happened in the past months and now, we're ready to share with you that we immigrated to Australia last December 2023.
This is it! Months of trying to transition from Manila, Philippines to Queensland, Australia... Finally, we're here! This is now our home; starting now, we'll slowly share with you all how we got here and what did we do to be granted a Permanent Resident visa in Australia.
We have so much to share but let's start with a quick update about what happened to us since our last Japan vlog-series.

Dynn here! I’m a freelance Digital Marketing specialist and Ton is an engineer for an oil company here. It took him 3 months. But I would like to mention na even before kami dumating here in AU, tapos na sya ng initial interview for the company he is working in. He did try to apply for other companies here but he still ended up with the one na we are hoping for him to really work with. So if we were to count yung nun andun pa kmi sa manila, I will say around 5 months. Ako naman, trying to apply dn here for a marketing job but I’m studying Early Childhood now ksi eto yung in demand right here.

Thank you po. Around 2022 po kami nag pass ng EOI. Got our invite email to apply the same year. And then mid-2023, we received our visa grant.

Pwede po ba magdalawa ng outside foods/drinks po sa flight ng jetstar? ung nabibili po sa airport na foods?
Not sure po. Try to check their FAQs about bringing outside food. But baka pwde. Ang important thing is you don’t have any meat products going in to Japan. Bawal tlaga sa kanila yan.

anong flight schedule niyo po? and ilang hrs before the flight nag-oopen check in counters?
We took the 6am flight. We’re already there at 2am pero 4:30am pa sila nag open so we had to stand on the line for almost 2hrs..
Nice video!!❤ Can i ask something, Were they strict with the cabbin bagggage 7kg? How if i bring 8kg cabin baggage, they check or i only check by myself before flight?
They’re not strict with the weight of your carry-on baggage. Pinapa lagay lng nla dun sa rolling rubber na pang weigh ng check in kasi lalagyan nla ng jet star sticker yung carry-on.. make sure mo lng na within the limit lng carry-on mo pra less hassle on your end if they became stricter now. 😅

Hi! Flying with Jetstar to Osaka, what time kayo nakarating ng Namba?
our flight was at 6am.. We're able to land at around 10am. it took us about an hour or two to ride the train going to namba.. by the time we arrived there, it was about past 1pm.

Not sure po ksi d kami nag check in. We chose to arrive at the airport 3-4hrs before ng flight namin. But we realized we could have arrived there kahit 2hrs before ng flight namin ksi nag antay pa dn kami sa pila ng more than an hour..

Where did you put your luggage in the train?
If you can see po bandang 6:40 timestamp, pumapasok kmi sa train, tapos everyone is unloading their luggages sa entrance dn mismo. They have locks to secure the luggages.

may shortage of card supply din sila sa japan same sa atin sa pinas sa beep cards natin.. nung andun kami, single journey ticket pass lng nabibili namin.. medyo hassle sya ksi kelangan pang bumili sa machines every time yung papunta and pabalik.. thank you po for supporting our channel! Also try to download po ng app nla for the train station ksi medyo complicated ang train system nla dun.. pra may overview kayo ng map ng trains nla.. panay kami ask sa mga staff saang platform ang need namin puntahan haha language barrier is real haha meron pang 10mins nalng darating na train namin tapos nasa kabila kaming platform.. takbo kmi haha Japan is a beautiful country and wer'e glad we were able to travel pa before we migrated to Australia. Hi @jackieinocentes5186 hnd naman po mandatory ksi yung paper form lang ginamit namin.. mas mabilis po yung immigration paper form na binibigay ng flight attendants going to and going out of the country. During palang sa flight, you can fill it up. Sa arrival and departure, binibigay lang sya sa immigration.

Kaya naman po. Cemented naman ang road, the whole way we travelled. Sa parking lng ng garden resort yung dirt road but kaya po ng wigo. 🙂 better dn if hnd mabigat ang mga dala nyong gamit.
