One of the biggest festival of India is Jagannath Rathyatra when lord of the universe comes out of his holy Jagannath temple, three deities (Jagannath, his brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra) are drawn by a multitude of devotees in three massive, wooden chariots on the grand avenue to Gundicha Temple. It is also known as the car festival of lord Jagannath. Every year in the month of Ashada according to Hindu calender this festival is celebrated in Jagannth Puri Dham, Odisha.
