No mechanical engineering jobs without some threat to your health huh? If its not boiling metal, its radiation, if not that then fast sharp objects and high voltages. Safety regulations can only do so much, the threat is always there, and the money wants to keep safety at the minimum required levels...

Thinking about switching to mechanical engineering before uni my college offers a hnc in mechanical engineering and hnd engineering and my univeristy offer a top up to turn into a degree I should probably take advantage since most colleges don't have and its 2k cheaper then going straight to uni

Thank you for the insight! =) I am looking forward to studying aerospace/mechanical engineering at Canada or US and currently comparing the universities. Could anyone give some explanation and details about how is the field of engineering for international students? I do know that it's huge and competitive at the same time, and that it's challenging to get into large companies, but still I don't feel like I am aware of what the major part of graduated engineers does. If anyone could provide some examples, talk about their university, what type of work they got after graduation and at internships.. I would be very grateful!! Thank you in advance ;)

I’ve always opted for the best neighborhood I can live in, no matter what city I live in. Even if it’s an efficiency, it’s important to be safe and the amenities and atmosphere/vibe usually make up for the lack of space. I loved your selection process.
