Impulse Control - How to reduce predatory chasing in dogs
Foundation of teaching impulse control around wildlife. This can be built up to getting your dog to respond to cues (e.g. sit / come) whilst around wildlife (to do this, simply ask for anything whilst your dog has stopped chasing).

Life can get carried away at times. Today has been a very busy day and as such, regretfully, my dog hasn’t yet had the outlet he needs. Enrichment needless be expensive or time-consuming (for us). For example, I’ve scattered Benji’s dinner in the garden, providing him with opportunities for mental enrichment.

How to make a dog want to stop moving so much that he slides with his paws on the ground? Competition dogs do that so nicely. They run full speed and then by command they dig themselves into the ground with all their force in a will to stop right there and then.

Hi! Sadly the audio is so bad that I can't hear any explanations. The introductory bark and mew on the other hand were so loud I'm sure even the neighbours over the street fell off their couch. Nice dog, nice game but how does this lead to reduced predatory chasing? Maybe ad subtitles or explain in description?

Very great! What about if my dog starts running into traffic? Let's say he has gotten out of my home and I need to get him to stop prior to reaching a busy road.
That should be the recall command. Come or here, or whatever you use.

That's where you need to work on your recall! I'm trying to figure out how to transfer this training exercise to stopping prior to running into traffic. My dogs are escape artists, and we live by a busy road. I'll let you know if I have any progress. You could also look into a video by That_Enzo_and_Lotus called My German Shepherds Wont Run Away as well as other off leash training and recall videos
