Day 56 - Experiences we have over the course of our life build to perceptions, those perceptions can create pre conceived ideas of events.
Day 57 - Flowing with the period we feels up as well as flowing with periods where we are down, no guilt trip and no delayed production.
Day 58 - Obtaining happiness does not require to rid ourselves of sadness completely but rather to come into acceptance of it.

Small Sufferings

Small sufferings are there to balance positive and negative in your life without too heavily impeding on how you live it. Negative energy converts to positive, so receive it in small insignificant events then repel it into positive more meaningful action.

Day 49 - We venture out to get out with the old and in with the new. Mission to destroy the vape so it may no longer be a distraction for the new year ahead.

    I've also tried meditating recently, and should keep trying. Two more notes: 1. spot a cute labrador 👀 it helps me calm down when they're around (if they behave well :P hhh) 2. man looking goooood, clean face, or with a bit of beard, which makes me happy :3

      100% keep going at it !! Hahaha yep it is a belief that animals, especially cute ones such as a labrador bring us to the present with our initial interaction with them. Maybe the excitement, or unconditional love they share brings about us to do the same. Appreciate it, bald head would make me feel that much better, presence radiating like a solar panel to the sun :D

    I’ve been meditating off and on for the past 20 years. I moved to open eyed meditation because, as you experienced, I tend to fall asleep when I close my eyes. Even after having what I would call a breakthrough experience about 10 months ago, my thoughts still drift off during meditation sometimes, so don’t get too lost in judging how well you’re concentrating. Just to be there, even if you were thinking when you’re supposed to be meditating, you can be there for the thinking

    • @PonderKnowledge2226
      @PonderKnowledge2226 5 місяців тому

      Wow thank you for sharing your experience, so you are saying it is also about being the awareness which experiences and sees the thoughts rather than always having to get rid of them completely. It is not about judging whether you are present or not but about being the consciousness which recognizes and sits with each state. I would love to hear more about what a breakthrough experience opened within you, and how you managed to obtain such an experience.

    • @flawed1
      @flawed1 5 місяців тому

      Yeah, you actually grasped the concept of being present for your thoughts and not judging your level of concentration well. I’ll try to put the experience I had into words as best I can. Funny thing is, I didn’t obtain anything at all. I only realized that I have always had it. Every bit of pleasure I ever chased in my life came from me and was always mine. Yet, there wasn’t really a me in the way I used to think there was. I had only gathered up a bunch of thoughts, labeled those thoughts as “me”and decided that the other thoughts were things that were happening to me, if that even makes sense. There was also an absolutely overwhelming sense of love and acceptance. I am exactly who I need to be and I am exactly where I need to be because there is nothing else. When I realized this I distinctly remember thinking “ I am free. I am home.”

    • @flawed1
      @flawed1 5 місяців тому

      I just realized that I didn’t answer how. I’m not sure how is something that can be replicated. Meditation played a big role, but it was also a struggle with long-term moderate anxiety. I kept trying to solve my anxiety until in that moment, I realized that it wasn’t something that needed to be solved. It was just an experience I was having in the present moment, and it would pass like everything else

    • @PonderKnowledge2226

      @@flawed1 hahahaha it sounds as though you had a complete lessening of the 'ego' or the 'false self'. When you stop confining yourself to labels and instead become a kind of nothing in a sense, then you are free to just be whatever you are in any moment that your in. That doesn't really make sense either haha that is the fun of the spiritual side of things, there is a depth of understanding that can only truly be experienced through feeling it within oneself. Love and acceptance, or a compassion for everything once we realize all of life is exactly as life is, and we are exactly as we are, and we accept that, then it becomes a whole new experience. Just be is the moto - Be nothing, just be.

    • @PonderKnowledge2226
      @PonderKnowledge2226 5 місяців тому

      @@flawed1 Meditation and the struggle with identity or anxiety very interesting. Anxiety can certainly make us analyze ourselves the most, it is known as the overanalysis of oneself. Though it sounds like you realized letting go was the answer, rather than the continual search deeper into confusion and self doubt, you learnt that anxiety flows through just like anything else, and it only remains if we cling to it, delving into thought which only heightens our angst.

      @PonderKnowledge2226 I guess more techniques on how to manage the spotlight effect. I think alot of people deal with that exact problem in this era.

    • @PonderKnowledge2226
      @PonderKnowledge2226 5 місяців тому

      @@ITwGamingI Yeah, many people certainly would have experienced this in their lifetime. The main focus for overcoming it, is recognizing when you are participating in this spotlight, self judging, assessing, or viewing oneself from someone else's perceived perspective, and remind yourself, your brain is playing tricks, these thoughts are pure assumptions. From here the goal is to turn focus towards the outside world, listen to what people are saying fully, notice the table in front of you, you look from the inside out rather than the outside in, it is your awareness which navigates the environment not your perceived assumptions that navigate your awareness or consciousness, especially when ridiculing it as this usually takes form in anxiety. Anxiety and depression having deep aspects to the overindulgence in thoughts about oneself.

      Thank you Olaikintel, sorry for the delayed response been quite unwell. It is probably more formulated towards development theories such as the Levinson's theory for adult development, suggesting adults move through altering periods of stability and transition throughout their lives. The trauma segment of this video was first understood through a physician known as Dr. Gabor Maté, I suggest looking into him for more information as he encompasses really interesting perspectives on trauma.

    Love this! When we take a back seat, be an observer and bring the mind back to the moment, we become more grounded and our reactions and interactions become effortlessly authentic and meaningful rather than just performative. I do this in social situations whenever I find myself anxiously overthinking and honestly nothing had helped more ✨ So keen for more of your videos!!

    • @PonderKnowledge2226
      @PonderKnowledge2226 10 місяців тому

      Hahahah beautifully put you could write on the subject with ease by how you describe it. Yeah it is certainly a strategy to help take yourself out of your head a little when it comes to interactions. Anxiety mostly stems from thoughts about oneself and how we are perceived by others so eradicating that altogether definitely helps us to be present in the moment without attempting to live up to a façade, rather just be you as you are and as your genuine self chooses to be.
