Candied Bacon
In this months kitchen tutorial we turn the candy of meats into candy.
For some reason, words were hard today and I continually misstate the cooking temperature. The bacon goes in the oven at 375f for a minimum of 40 minutes. Just as importantly, if you're lactose intolerant and you give a polar bear a hug, you'll die.

Why I bought a semi modest country estate pt 1

As always UA-cam wants a description although the title tells us what the video is about. SO, in less than five thousand characters, I explain why I became a land owner. Remember, the first rule of passive aggressive club is...You know what, never mind. IT"S FINE.

For December 2024, I discuss a change of plans due to issues with adhesives, and the bad looking joints on the custom bridge I was building. Once you've seen enough for the day, just take your glasses off. It works every time.

Please enjoy my second attempt at uploading this video. In attempt one (called the first attempt) the walking rectums at UA-cam put a copyright claim (not a strike) on the music provided by Microsoft in their editing software. So, because I'm like that, I deleted the video and removed all the music.
The marksmanship series, what's coming this winter.
Переглядів 121 день тому
As usual, UA-cam wants me to describe the video (using up to five thousand characters) even though the title tells you everything. SO. I'm telling you what the marksmanship series will bring you this winter. Remember, sunshine and rainbow testers know it's not all sunshine and rainbows. Yeah, I know. I'm weird. Enjoy the video.

I still use the old Jeff cooper method. Index finger on the plug, thumb on the inside of the trigger guard and squeeze. People think Steven Sagal invented it, col cooper actually used it in his safety demonstrations.

First, thanks for watching and commenting. Second, that might merit more than two sentences. I'd really like to hear how the Col. thought this was safe and what his safety demonstration was (is there video somewhere?).

You need styrene glue. It melts the pieces together by chemical reaction. Try Plastruct Plastic Weld Cement. It melts the pieces together. Not much is required.

When we cleared new land in the Willamette Valley of Oregon, I spent many hours picking up rocks from that tilled land and carrying them to a trailer to be placed in streams to control the erosion. NOT ONE of those rocks was a pet.

I have seen several large colonies of feral pet rocks, so I understand the problem. They can however be tamed and kept in a pet rock enclosure, with various flowering plants. Good luck with yours.

Andrew - I am one of the St. Louis Brewers I am sure you have heard your Dad tell stories about! When my siblings get together, the older ones talk about coming home from school to find the house filled with the smell of this amazing spaghetti sauce my dad used to make. Legend has it that the recipe was from a set of handwritten recipes your grandmother gifted my parents when they got married in 1952. It may sound odd, but this is a very special shared memory that means a great deal to us. We were all very disappointed when we couldn't find the old, yellowed, grease spattered recipe after my parents passed. Your Dad told me about your UA-cam channel today. I was BLOWN AWAY when I saw this video and noticed "My Grandmothers Spaghetti Sauce Recipe" in the title. I am going to test run this today and can't wait to share this video with my brothers. E-mail title: OMG! You are Not Going to Believe This! ;) (** There were meatballs too. You don't by chance have her recipe for those as well? **) You do mention your videos are for the 'just getting started' crowd.

Ann, thanks for writing. Dad still frequently talks about the "old neighborhood" and the trips he made when your dad was sick. I'm sure there'll be some reference to it when I get there later today to deal with a broken tree. There's also a meatball tutorial when you're ready. I think he got that recipe from his mother as well.
