Meli is a beautiful Lagotto Romagnolo loved by our family. She is brown roan, 3 years old and because we have so many dogs right now we have decided to find her a new home.
If you are looking for a dog who loves attention, who is incredibly affectionate, who is mature and house trained, she may be a great fit for you.
She will do best in a calm home with someone who has time to give her love and affection. She loves to get out and explore, to go for walks and to play with a ball, but she most loves to spend time on the sofa with us. Her love language is definitely Touch!

Chai gave us 3 boys and 4 girls on Wednesday, Feb 15th. Puppies are doing well, are vigorous, and putting on weight (all markers of health). In this short clip, I didn't get a lot of faces as they were focused on mothers' milk, but you can get a sense of the litter. I have 2 lagottos, they are sisters. I call one of them my girlie girl, that's my Esme and her sister is my tomboy, Oreo. I've had them since they were 4m old. They are seriously so very smart they amaze me all the time. I love them both and they have been loads of fun, especially since they are sisters.

The Character of the Lagotto is one of their primary draws! They are generally lovely dogs, calm, playful, love to run, but also to settle and lay at your feet while you work.

Oh I just realized one of the two dark brown ones (@.23sec) is Gio, my first ever dog/pet. I believe the one of the left is actually him . He'd lost the white patch on his chest already. He is a super-smart, well-behaved dog. I believe NW Lagotto did some great puppy training before I got him. Thanks NW Lagoto (Mark) for the video :)

We just had 7 pups on Wednesday. All are doing well. We are expecting another litter out of Chino Feb 26th, 2023 and then from Fransesca on March 30...

Hello, Our waiting list is general about 2-3 litters long. It varies. That would mean 4-5 months most of the time. You can find more information about our puppies including their cost at www.northwestlagotto.com/puppies

Beautiful coloring! Excited!! Are the males the darker brown or lighter brown?
Our males are the largest and smallest of the litter though there is little difference at this point. They are both sable in color (lighter) while the females are brown with tan/white markings (2) and sable (1). We are really pleased with how this litter is coming along. They are calm, sweet, inquisitive, and gentle at this stage.

@@Northwest_Lagotto Yes there’s plenty to do but they’re not too bad… even as we enter the ‘poonami stage’ with them already eating puppy food. I’ve tanked the whole whelping area with builders membrane and have already started training the pups to poo in their litter area, and most have got the idea already, with the inevitable morning time clean up routine.

take your time thinking about the introduction. Provide room your your new pup to escape (under a chair or something low so that they can control the tempo. So long as the intro goes well, they will be off to a good start.
