Utilizing the Cutting Plane View in TBC for Linear Feature Extraction
Переглядів 2,8 тис.4 роки тому
In this video we demonstrate how to cut "slices" along a linear path to extract road features from a point cloud. This is a useful tool when trying to define features along a roadway, such as curb and gutter. In this particular example, we show how to cut slices and a defined interval along an alignment. Trimble Access- Staking with Reference Alignment
Переглядів 12 тис.4 роки тому
In this video we demonstrate how to stake to a reference alignment. This will allow you to see your current position’s station and offset on an alignment, relative to a referenced road. When doing this, Trimble Access will record the design and reference alignment as-staked details. This process is very useful for people who stakeout from a DXF or LandXML, as this allows users to stakeout trans...

Point Cloud Smart Picking in Trimble Business Center
Переглядів 5 тис.7 років тому
This video demonstrates the Point Cloud Smart Picking Mode in Trimble Business Center v3.90 or later. The Smart Picking Mode is used to create points and linestrings from scan data. The scan data in this video was captured using a Trimble SX10. We will be showing how the smart picking mode allows the user to accurately and efficiently capture the face and gutter (flowline) of a curb.
Powerline Extraction in TBC using Scan Data
Переглядів 7657 років тому
This video demonstrates an efficient way to extract power line information from geospatial scan data. Using Trimble Business Center v3.90 or later it is possible to automatically classify power lines with the push of a button. Once classified we show how the power line scan data can be modeled into a best-fit 3D curve line. This workflow will be useful for anyone performing power line surveys.

Copy Job Files To / Import from & Export to External Drive - Trimble Access commands
Переглядів 13 тис.7 років тому
In this Tech Talk we will demonstrate three new functions in Trimble Access that make file management much easier. Rather than using File Explorer and Windows Explorer to copy & paste files to an external drive or folder, Trimble Access has incorporated the ability to do copy, import, and export data to and from USB drives or network servers. We will demonstrate the "Copy job files to" command,...
Delete Selected Triangles from Surfaces in Trimble Access

Bom dia na minha coletora tsc2 conecta Wi-Fi mas não mantém conectado pode me ajudar obrigado..
can this be done on Autocad or do you need civil 3d strictly ? thank you great video
You need to not put the microphone in front of your mouth and nose but just out of line of your breath. Then it won't pop the mic every time you use a hard letter. also it won't blow the audio out when you talk.
Amigos disculpen, dónde me descargo esa versión donde aparece el Trimble R10?
Dylan, great Video! I have a question with the bottom of the screen delta's before measuring the point. The demonstration showed a Fill of 1.37 or something to the CL. If you stakeout the Back of Curb road alignment, using the CL alignment as your reference, will the Cut/Fill be to the CL or the Back of Curb in this case?
Hi Sir. How will install geoid model to Trimble tsc3. Any video. Please
Hi Jay, I am looking the way to mark 20m offset line from lake edge. Since lake edge runs like snake, is there any way when staking with trimble access to find out that my stakeout point is at least 20m far from from the nearest edge? I am using TSC3 v2017 for field work.
I think what you would be looking for is the basic Stakeout line/polyline/alignment using the "To the line/alignment" method. This should be the first stake method in the list. This will tell you the current station and offset of your position relative to the line you're staking. Even if you have curves in the line, it should tell you your offset to the nearest perpendicular location on the line.
Good morning I would like to know if I can install Trimble Access on the TSC2 collector.
Can you please explain how to connect a TSC2 to a Verizon Jetpack? Thank you.
Good stuff, Jay!
cool❣
Can you explain what zig zag does in greater detail please ?
Imaging that you're doing cross sections of 400 m of a road at 20 m intervals. Assume that you start on the left side of the road walking towards the right side of the road measuring. Once you've reached the right side of the road you're going to walk 20 meters up chain and then walk towards the left side of the road now. What the zig zag method does is remember that you started on the left in this scenario and once you reach the right, it knows that you will walk up chain and go back across the road. Essentially all you're doing is just pressing measure and it automatically changes the code for you. You went Left to Right on codes for one XS and then move up chain and it will no go Right to Left and repeat that till you tell it to stop or you complete your survey
Really great - I bought it from Amazon - through the reduction link amzn.to/2urhf33
I keep getting wrong network key even though I am 100 percent correct on password
TSC2 doesn't have WPA2 or WPA3 like your phone. So If you want to connect to your phone hotspot for internet, you have to remove your password and make It open for everyone. That's my solution for today, because there are no 3G station left anymore.
down with trimble. why they prepare simple down loading system for total station
Great video. explains alot. thanks for posting. is there an updated presentation that gives updates to the material relative to the latest versions of Access and TBC? also, does NAD83(conus) = NAD83(96) ?
NAD 83 (CONUS) was an identifier that has been perpetuated by the U.S. Defense Department (DMA, NIMA, NGA) in their datum transformations. It was never used by the National Geodetic Survey (NGS) who are responsible for NAD 83. It should be taken to mean NAD 83 (CONUS) = NAD 83 (1986). If performing transformations is an issue no one should ever use the NAD 83 (CONUS) that comes up in many GPS and GIS software packages - it can easily produce uncertainties in the range of 15 m (49 ft) at the 95% (2 sigma) confidence level. Use only the transformation tools provided by NGS such as NADCON, NCAT and/or HTDP

She's a Kiwi! Great video!
How do you xtract a file from an R10 to the computer?
Great video! very helpful. Where would i be able to obtain a Trimble Access emulator for PC from? would be good to try things out without firing the controller up all the time.
Do you happen to know if we can make vector information (PDOP, # of Sats., RMS, etc...) auto generate in the attributes like for Date and time?
hi I am going to share my cellphone gorse to my tsc2 via wifi and connect to VRS. would you please tell me setting or upload a pretty created VRS style anywhere ? thank you
this setup works with wifi, but you have to connect to you phone before starting survey controller 12.x
nice video
does this work for trimble 5800
Awesome tutorial really helpful BUT so funny. I love the accent there! Back of Curb!!!
Very cool demo. A TON of useful information. I hope that draftsman recovered from his cold.
Hello from Greece. I just watched your Vision video and i just make a test with a VX. I have a question for you. If i just have one photostation and take a panorama in witch the pictures have a large overlap between them e.g 70% why i cannot compute photo points. I have two overlapping images and i know the external orientation. From the photogrammetry aspect it should be possible. Thank you.
You should have everything you need. When you are in the Measure Points screen, you can change your measurement method to Compensated Point. This is where you would choose between Topo Point , Observed Control, or Rapid Point.
You can use a free program call "My Mobiler".
hi jay, this is really interesting video. but i have one question for you, is 4.90 firmware in trimble R10 working for compensated point? I have already do this step with trimble access 2014.12 and 4.90 firmware for trimble R10. but I have not found compensated point in trimble access. kindly need your help. Thank you.
hi what program you use to synchronize the node with the pc and to make the video would help me a lot in my job to teach and spread the Trimble Access
very good
