NYSERDA, with support from Rep. Ocasio-Cortez, is pleased to announce the CJF+ Program is now available and is fully funded by the U.S. Department of Labor. The Climate Justice Fellowship Plus Program is a $3 million pilot program to advance climate justice in the Bronx and Queens.
The Climate Justice Fellowship Plus Program will provide wage subsidies for eligible nonprofit organizations to hire individuals for two-year climate justice fellowships. Fellows will be expected to assist with community engagement activities (e.g., plan, policy, or project), support clean energy project development and implementation, facilitate, or build upon partnerships, or engage in other projects related to advancing climate justice and clean energy priorities in the Bronx and Queens.
