Welcome to my channel! My suitcase is always excited when I travel-whether it’s to the beach or over seas! This channel focuses on room tours at resorts, hotels, cruise ships and so much more! It also gives you a peek into restaurants and tourist attractions. I hope you find it helpful when planning a vacation or outing!
ICON OF THE SEAS—OWNER’S SUITE—CABIN 16034
This is a cabin tour of Owner’s Suite 16034 on Icon of the Seas. It is located forward, starboard. We found this to be a great location! The suite restaurant/lounge, Coastal Kitchen, was right around the corner. The suite pool deck, The Grove, (also forward) was two decks above. Swim and Tonic (swim up bar/pool) is also on deck 16. The Aquadome market was one deck directly below us (never heard any noise).
This cabin has one bedroom and a pull out couch, although our older daughters slept comfortably on the couch as pictured in the video. Our cabin attendant put the bedding on every night.
The bathroom was much bigger than I expected. It had 2 sinks, a tub and a separate shower and lots of storage.
This cabin category on Icon comes with Wi-Fi for each guest in the room. It is a Sky Class Suite.

This is a room tour of King room 535 at the Fairmont in Washington D.C. This hotel is located within walking distance to Georgetown and the Metro. The room was spacious and very comfortable.

This is a room tour of the Slieve Donard Hotel which is located in Newcastle at the foot of the Mourne Mountains. We had a king room connected to a Queen room for our teenagers. This hotel was beautiful and located in a cute, seaside town.

This is a quick room tour of our accommodations at the Shelbourne in Dublin, Ireland. The room was cozy and had a king sized bed. Our view overlooked other buildings and was somewhat noisy at times. The Shelbourne is located across from Saint Stephen's Green.

This is a room tour at the Hilton Garden Inn Providence. It is across the road from the beautiful India Point Park. I stayed in room 202. This was a room with a king size bed. This room, however, was directly above a dumpster and a busy road.
POCONOS-Camelback Resort-one bedroom family suite-Room Tour

This resort is located in Tannersville, Pennsylvania in the Poconos. Camelback is popular for skiing in the winter. This room tour shows a spacious accommodation. Sleeps 8 people and has 2 full bathrooms and a separate bedroom with a king bed.

This video shows you what a two Queen suite with a Queen sleeper sofa and patio looks like. Camelback Resort is located in the Poconos in the town of Tannersville, PA and has an indoor and outdoor water park along with many other outdoor activities in the summer.

I know this was two years ago. But how soon before your trip did the prices go down? Right now is showing $1200 for my November cruise. I definitely don’t think it’s worth it. Looks nice though. Also, did the prices go down because of Covid? I know many people were not cruising back then. Have you seen prices go that low again for a cabana? I’m new to cruising.
Hi! I honestly can’t remember…it was likely a few months before. I do not think the prices went down for Covid. The original price I believe was around 700 so the prices were definitely starting out MUCH lower than they are now. I am sailing Icon in June and the chill island cabanas are listed at more than $1400. I haven’t seen the chill island cabanas lower than 1000 in years. The best advice I can give is to check your cruise planner often…that is how I noticed the price drop. I agree 1200 is too much. Also, if you are on Facebook, join the FB group for the exact week you are sailing. That is how I found out about a nice price drop on the beverage package. I hope you enjoy your cruise!

Is it worth it? We are paying $1200 for the cabana and I am really thinking about canceling the reservation.
Hi Jon, thanks for watching! I personally would not pay 1200 for a chill island cabana. That is incredibly high. We paid 300 and I felt the cabana was with it for that money.

Imagine if Royal Carribbean SKIPPED building one of their billion + dollar mega ships, and instead spend that money on updating coco cay, making these cabanas truly luxurious! These dont look that great🤷
You are right. These cabanas are not luxurious, but provided a comfortable spot for my family to relax and get out of the sun. The cabanas over the water have more bells and whistles but were out of our price range. Thank you for watching!

Hi! Thank you for watching! We had a great experience. The room was clean and the property is in walking distance to shops and restaurants and snorkeling. We stayed 3 nights and then spent the rest of our time at the Wailea Beach Resort since we wanted to experience various areas. I also have a video on that resort as well. I hope you enjoy your time in Maui.

Did you get to choose which one you wanted? Obviously I rather have front row especially after paying so much, Going in July & the prices are ridiculous.
Unfortunately we did not get to choose. Once you check in at the cabana station, they take you to the one you were assigned and that is basically when you find out.
Thanks for posting the video. I cannot find any pricing info on the Chill Island cabanas on the Royal Caribbean’s website. I understand it varies with each sailing. Just want to know a ballpark figure.
Thank you for watching! For our sailing on the Anthem of the Seas over Christmas, we snagged the cabana for $300. In the cruise planner it was priced at $800 for the longest time! But I just kept checking and checking. And when I saw it drop to $300, I jumped on it right away. We really enjoyed it and we were lucky to get one in the first row. So just keep checking your cruise planner because you never know when you will find a lower price.

@@nyahmanismommy we got lucky with the price drop. Be obsessive about checking the prices each day. That’s what I did and it paid off.
