Yeah it’s very difficult to like break even at a place like this. But the prize we traded for is extremely hard to purchase from Pop Mart, as it sells out in seconds. We really enjoy playing claw machines so we count the cost as prize we want + fun we had. The plush in these types of trade-up arcades is typically not worth much, even though they are often very cute. Usually non-licensed knock off plush meant to be traded back in. But yeah, we don’t go to arcades like this expecting to get our money’s worth with the actual prize we trade in for. But also keep in mind that we traded all that stuff in and still have a lot of leftover points. We just saved them for now instead of getting another prize. What we got was a $40 item from Pop Mart. What we wanted to get and had enough points for was a $90 item, but they had sold out of it.

The ones at this particular arcade have lines marked for the bonus spin and prize drop timing and have good payout rates. Other arcades aren’t quite as easy.

Ohhh most claw machine here in the US are terrrrible! A lot take a ton of plays to pay out and then the prizes aren’t even good. We travel pretty far to get to the good arcades here lol! We actually plan on coming to Singapore to play. We’ve seen videos there so we have an idea of the difficulty, but y’all have good prizes!

@ I do want to play those games, but I’m talking about the games with the little gems you scoop up and drop on the platform to get the small figures or coins to fall. I play over the edge a lot, and there’s skill and luck to it. It does have to pay out on the bonus wheel prizes. The grand prize should be entirely skill, though, when you get to spin for that.

I’m still dreaming about the big fuzzy snake from the prize area. That thing was soooooo cute! And yes, the drumming was super cool, it was just soooo loud where we were. They had some super awesome vendors and everything at the mall, too. It was really neat!
