Alright, I've done the math :] From the looks of it, the 17 block long spinning drill digs 233 blocks per layer. Compared to the 16x16 drill's 256 blocks per layer, it's not too far off, but it is a little bit less. Assuming they both dug 120 layers, and not accounting for caves, The spinning drill dug 27960 blocks, and the first chunk miner dug 30720 blocks. Factoring in the time each drill ran for, the first chunk miner dug 30720 blocks in 8 hours, digging about 3840 blocks/hr, while the new spinning chunk miner dug 27960 blocks in 2 hours, digging 13980 blocks/hr. Because of this massive improvement in speed as well as how much easier it is to actually build, this new spinning miner is absolutely the better one, even though it technically mines less resources. I'm loving this series, it's interesting to see your thought process :]

You don't need to use a depot for sequenced crafting you can use a belt and automate it easily
