Various bird species visit our birdcam feeders daily: finches, cardinals, jays, tufted titmouse, grackles, red-winged black birds, chickadees, mourning doves, goldfinches, and many more. Come stop by and visit.
The Avian All-You-Can-Eat Extravaganza!
Cardinals are the stars of this video, appearing at the beginning and the end. I love their coloring. Is it just me, or do the feathers of male cardinals seem to become more vibrant red in the fall and winter?
Male cardinals remind me of Christmas. As a child, I often saw them featured on Christmas cards, and their red color made me think of the holiday. I did some Christmas decorating in this video, but only a little.
I labeled the red-bellied woodpecker as a red-winged blackbird.

Guess Who's Swinging By? The Brown-headed Cowbird!
Переглядів 212 години тому
I was so happy to see a brown-headed cowbird stop by our birdcam feeder. The last time I saw them was in August. They're migratory birds and usually leave our state during the colder months. I have read that a few will occasionally stay behind. It makes me curious why this one is still here. There are plenty of natural food resources on our property to keep the cowbird from being hungry, and I ...
Birdcam Monday: Feathered Friends Take the Spotlight

#cardinal #wildlife #nature #birdcam #nuthatch #woodpecker Mr. Re-Bellied Woodpecker made a cameo in this video. However, the main visitors were the white-breasted nuthatch and the house sparrows. The bossy northern cardinal swooped in and chased off a house sparrow with some intense scolding. The elusive chickadee popped in and out; you would have missed this shy little bird if you blinked. In...

#nature #wildlife #birdcam #birds #birdlover #cardinal #bluejays We had a variety of birds that visited the birdcam. I always enjoy seeing them swoop in and snack at the birdcam feeder. I purchased a few birdfeeder stands that arrived yesterday; I will have my daughter place them outside later today. Early this morning, I was outdoors with one of my DJI drones. I captured some fantastic aerial ...

#squirrel #squirrelwatching #squirreleating #wildlife #nature #naturecam Saturday's and squirrels' silly antics seem to go together. I decided to gather 196 clips of squirrels visiting the birdcam feeder and edit and share their eating habits on My Outdoor Wildlife. I laugh at the sneaky way they scamper up the fig tree and hop onto the birdcam feeder. Tomorrow, I'll be posting an exclusive bir...
Red-bellied woodpecker drops by for a knock!

#birds #woodpecker #nature #wildlife #birdwatching Mr. Red-Bellied Woodpecker is coming back daily. Hello, little buddy! The other birds rarely visit the birdcam feeder when it's about. He's always casting an eye on the area when he's present. In the summer, when a few other bird species were brave enough to attempt to visit the bird feeder when he was present, he would point his beak in their ...
Halloween Feast: Squirrel's Snack Attack at the Birdcam Feeder

This short video mainly focuses on one of the two squirrels that visit our birdcam feeders. I can quickly tell the two apart since the smaller one has more orange in its fur, and I'm positive it's a female. The other squirrels that live on our four-acre property are interested in something different than the birdcam feeder. I see them scampering and gathering nuts from our trees, chestnuts, and...

#birds #nature #birdcam #woodpecker #redbelliedwoodpecker #wildlife #birdlovers I was surprised to see the red-bellied woodpecker appear so much in the video footage. I was excited. #bluejays #housesparrow #sparrow #redbelliedwoodpecker #woodpecker #nature #wildlife Early this morning, I captured a few minutes of birdcam footage. When it comes to bird species, these birds typically stop by early morning. I was mildly surprised ...
Birdcam Sunday: Short Clip of Birds and Squirrel Visit

Here's a short clip of a few bird species visiting the birdcam feeder. I didn't have as much time to share videos or visit my favorite channels this weekend. My brother and nephew arrived yesterday and just left. There was plenty of fellowship, bonding, and being outdoors; my nephew even flew the drone! My brother will get a few DJI Drones (I think the DJI Avata) later this year. Royalty-Free M...

#birds #wildlife #nature #cowbird Taking a cue from yesterday, I'm posting a few more clips of the brown-headed cowbirds. In groups, they are similar to the house sparrows, where they're camaraderie, and some in-fighting happens when they visit. It makes for an entertaining video. I also dropped in a few clips of a crow that graced our feeder. Plenty of crows, ravens, and starlings visit our pr...

The brown-headed cowbirds I adore have recently migrated from our area, so I did a bit of digging and found video footage of them visiting the birdcam feeders. I also included a few clips of one of the squirrels who visited the birdcam feeder, and at the end of the video, I included a short clip of my working line, Germa...

#birds #birdlovers #squirrel #birdcam #wildlife #nature It's always wonderful to see the red-bellied woodpeckers visiting the birdcam feeders. They are on our property; however, I've seen them around the feeders even less as the seasons change. Of course, the squirrels-or, I should say, squirrels-popped by; two made an appearance at different times on this day. A grackle made an appearance. The...

Oh , that red is so brilliant!
The red-bellied woodecker was labelled incorrectly in this video. I had it labelled as a red-winged blackbird. I know I had been thinking of those birds when I was editing this video.
Is cardinal the red bird? They are lovely♦
Yes, that's the cardinal. I agree, lovely birds!
😁😋👍
☺🤗
1:37 the character is back😂 2:27 😳🤔 we need an exorcist here🙈 sir you good? 2:35 fluffy baby 😘❤️🔥always really close to the camera 🙊🐿😇 3:46 thich winter coat😏🥰
The red-bellied woodpecker has this weird fascination with the camera. I chuckled when I saw the way it cocked its head to look at the camera. It also sounded like it was pecking at the camera. 😆
We have been getting the cow birds, too! This year has been odd with summer birds mixing with the winter birds
Yes, indeed, it's interesting to see the summer bird hanging around.
Very nice sharing!😊✨️💚✨️
🌳🐦🌳 Have a wonderful and peaceful day ✌💖
Thanks, and I hope you have a wonderful day!
@MyOutdoorWildlife Thank you ✌❤
Special visitor is a messy eater 😳😮 1:18 😂 3:24 sir you good? why did you freeze like that🤔 4:12 hell yeah fluffy baby! Her coat turning lighter color🐾😇🐿🍂💜 5:36 😂😂
Yes, the brown-headed cowbirds are interesting. They remind me of mourning doves; well, I think they (at times) surpass mourning doves when it comes to being messy. ☺
@@MyOutdoorWildlife😂mourning dove is such a little character 😏❤️🔥
Great sharing!😊✨️💚
that red bird is so beautiful 👌👌
Cardinals are always a welcomed sight...but they do seem to get chased off pretty quick by the Blue Jays.
Lovely music and cute birds visiting♦

That cardinal was lurking 🤭i saw it before pointing out. 😊 4:15 fiesty fluffy 😵😳 love the editing 🥰😇🫶💜

Yes, that little house sparrow is brave. I believe it's the same one I see around the red-bellied woodpecker. Interestingly enough, it's the only one it seems to 'allow' at the feeder when it's there.
@@MyOutdoorWildlife curious behavior 🫣🤔🐦😳
I love the music already! I'm going to watch the whole thing, but I wanted to comment 1st 😂 Lol.
Thanks so much for stopping by. As usual, choosing the music is one of the most challenging things for me, outside of editing (at times)> I'm looking forward to seeing which birds are visiting your birdcam feeders. I'm hoping to see a few juncos! They are so adorable.
🌳💖🐦✌🐿🌳
In my village Squirrels steal most our foods in the garden😀so we find ourselves not really friends with them 😅but this is so lovely to see that still different in other country.
They do the same thing here! You should have seen what they did to our tomatoes, pumpkins, and greens. Groundhogs and birds are just as destructive when eating the produce in our garden. I get that they want the tasty food; however, plenty of other wild-growing tasty vegetation exists. Leave my planted produce alone!🤣. All my produce is now in raised garden beds because of them! I spend many hours gardening, so yes, I definitely will be protecting my hard work.
Very nice sharing!😊✨️🐿🧡
Thank you!
They're all getting a good fill!!
Yes, they are.😄
🐿❤😊😋

A beautiful squirrel! I put dried corn on the cob at the bottom of my bird feeders, so they can snack :)
That's a great idea about the corn. I'll have to do that at some point. Thanks for the suggestion!

I like video around 4-6 minutes. My opinion 🫣🐿🩶
Yeah, 19:28 was hilarious. The things these squirrels do to get to the birdcam feeder are hilarious. I'm trying to make it easy for them to access the feeders since I enjoy seeing them at the birdcam feeders, and I know others do, too. Thanks for your feedback; I will consider that (length). I like short and lengthy videos. I know @MyaYard would usually post their long videos over the weekend, and I loved them since I'd watched them while doing various tasks; however, I know they're not for everyone. I'm still trying to figure out what to do here. I might post a few on the weekend (on the same day). Longer videos will be something I do have on my holistic channel; it's the nature of that anyway, which will bring about longer content because of the style, educating, and occasionally recording a process. This channel started to familiarize me with video editing. I love nature, so practicing with something I enjoy makes sense. Now, I cannot stop. I appreciate the wildlife community and have 'met' some great people like you. It reminds me of my early blogging days, and it is friendly. I still have a website over 10 years old, but most of my blogging pals stopped writing, and some switched to videos.
@@MyOutdoorWildlife I understand the direction you want to go in. I know myayard was posting long videos.🥹 miss her video 😮💨
@@hppower_and_squirrels I miss her videos, too. I hope she is okay. I am more comfortable with the shorter videos here, although I do have some ideas for longer videos; however, those might be done near the holidays, so I need to start working on them now. But... I could break them up into a series like you did for Halloween. I like those, by the way, and I wish I could have done some Halloween videos. I'm still thinking of posting one after Halloween. 🤔
Great Cardinal specimin.. he's a fattie! 😂
Don't tell the cardinal that. He'll start squawking at you! Lol. He's getting ready for the cooler months.
The Nuthatch is a beauty!
You make great videos! Red Bellied woodpecker is one of my favorites! Great photography, thank you!

"Such a delightful visitor! The red-bellied woodpecker always brings a little joy with its visits. 🐦❤"
Indeed, I enjoy seeing Mr. Red-Belly stop by the birdcam feeder.
This was awesome
Thank you. This is the video edit I wrote about under my Community Tab. It took about an hour to clean up the video before uploading.
Is that a new feeder in background on the left?🤔😳 1:14 still holding the feeder to itself 🫣🌶spicy fluffy. 2:32 extra close 😂🐦 2:47 hello gorgeous 😘❤️🔥 3:24 look at this thic winter coat sheesh 🐿🥹❤
It's been there a few weeks, it's lower because of Fluffers. I'll need to get a proper stand so it does not lean so much.
That was nice, thanks! Lovely music too. Happy Samhain, "The Time Between Times." We are halfway between the Autumnal Equinox and the Winter Solstice. My daughter and her partner carved pumpkins last Saturday, and then put them outside. The next morning, they were chewed to shreds, seeds gone and appreciated. 🙂 We love our backyard friends.
Thanks for the kind compliment. Happy Samhain to you as well. It's one of my favorite times of the year. I plan to pick up a few pumpkins today, carve them, and set them outside over the weekend. I'll take out some of the flesh to make pumpkin bread. Once that is done,. I'll place my action camera (secured so they don't try to take that) to see what critters stop by to have a pumpkin feast.
@@MyOutdoorWildlife I'm looking forward to seeing that! 🙂
