This kind of stuff is just one of a number of reasons why I gave up on living in malta after being there for 3 years. I don't understand we English gave the Maltese a good solid background in how to drive and the moment we left they drive like that!. I have been going to Malta for 40 years and I have never seen such reckless driving anywhere, you only need to take a drive and see all the flower tributes all over the island the roads are littered with them. It has never occurred to them that they don't have motorways as the island is to small and therefore to drive accordingly
