Makita impacts (and multitools) are big nono for me , only few tools works great in my opinion When you use dewalt its easy to use one hand in hard to reach places , have more max torque but start impacting earlier and easier Meanwhile makita .... Expensive battery , wont start impacting with 99% of the pz/ph screws sizes before they at the end , you rly need to push the tool to work with pz/ph ...even with torx Where dewalt / hitachi / metabo (and some cheap brands) that are more powerfull ....i can use with one hand in hard to reach places stretching my arm while on the ladder PS Meanwhile Japan version (purple) is like different brand , waaaaay better than ones in eu and us and they work great

Literally could’ve been a fake drill and a genuine makita impact and still the drill would have won because drills are pretty good at… you guessed it, drilling!

For that .5 second I’ll take the much more comfortable makita all day

Both are great tools. I have an 887 and I put that thing through hell, and still works great.
