Hey! Quick question: If I don't have anything by Zdarsky, what omnibus would you suggest I start with? Daredevil, Spider-man, or something else by him?

Wow! I've seen a few of these sorts of videos, but your choices are really fresh, and I appreciate that! I had no idea Immortal Hulk comes as an omnibus! I read volume 1 (or book 1?) digitally a few years ago but was not into buying omni's back then. Do you prefer Justice League Dark New 52 or Rebirth? I'm guessing Rebirth since it made the video list?

Thanks for this! I like your technique because it causes the "eye" to slowly open rather than forcing it open immediately like if you open the book in the center. To minimize spoilers, I turn my book around so the text / images are upside down, and I try to not stare at the page content.

Before even watching the video I’ll say my favorite is Straczynski, followed by Bendis on Ultimate. Never could quite get into the older Spidey stuff, maybe one day. The new Ultimate by Hickman looks really tempting, not very difficult when you have Checchetto doing the artwork.

The book is missing JLX #1 and Magneto and the Magnetic Men #1. Not worth it.

I have volume one and I’m waiting on volume two to be delivered. Chip Zdarsky officially turned me into a Daredevil fan. Such a great run.

DM cover is the way, somehow the main ones don’t look right without the typical Daredevil font.

I just got my copy in the mail yesterday (preordered from Barnes and Nobel). I wish I knew why it was delayed so badly.

There a much easier way to crack those spines bro. DJ off rest spine in table, open directly in half, and lay flat, then half each half a few times. Less chance of creasing any pages, and NO SPOILERS lol! -Omni Pro Myself

My last English Omnibus, I'm hopeful in French we can have what I'm looking for, so might as well stop with a bang (and something unlikely to come out in French and... yet again after those releases) Though I prefer the cover variant, I wasn't sure if there was a spine or just a full spread (even though I hate the spines, but at least it exists) I wish I could've taken it haha

Guys, I'm guessing that better thumbnails would give you more views and subscribers. It's difficult to see the covers of the books you're talking about on my laptop because they're at an angle, and only take up a third of the screen. The book cover should be the main focus of the thumbnail, not the words 'Closer Look'. if you look at your overview video page, almost all thumbnails say 'Closer Look' in bright neon lettering, so they all meld into one. Just giving you some advice because I'm planning on launching my own comic channel next month and would want people to tell me where I can improve. Good luck with the channel!

I heard that there are two issues from the Amalgam comics that are being left out wish are JLX #1 and Magneto and the Magnetic Men #1 because of controversy with the writer

Sticking with the 4 deluxe hardcovers which have the same spine as this omnibus it turns out. I think the deluxes have 30 odd more issues too.

I ordered a copy of the DC versus Marvel Omnibus (George Perez cover) a few days back from Amazon Canada which arrived the other day. Sadly the dustjacket was off position and was about a centimetre down getting crushed inside the shrinkwrap which was not Amazon's fault. I thought about returning it back for a replacement copy but decided to keep it and told Amazon to just give me back a partial refund to make up the unexpected damage that came to the dustjacket which they did giving me a 15% refund plus getting the book off at 38% off during the order so now I got the book at 53% in total.

Without the Amalgam series, this feels like a bit of a missed opportunity.

I own all 300 issues of this run, but still needed to have this book. The binding is a bit on the tight side, but I'm still glad it's on my shelf now. First ever Comics Bugle order!
