What’s Going On With Immigration In Canada
In this video the discussion surrounds why I believe opinions are changing towards immigration in Canada. I also discuss the scams some international students fell into, and why immigration in Canada is becoming a hotter topic. Let me know what you think, you don’t have to agree with my perspective. But keep it respectful.

In this video the discussion surrounds colourism, featurism, colonization and phrenology. We also discuss “diaspora wars” and a colonized mind. My apologies if the video is a bit all over the place lol. Also, note to add : the correct term is the banality of small differences not finite differences. Let me know what you think ! #colourism #featurism #colonization #deconstruct #africa #africandi...

In this video we talk about why we should stop making excuses and stop complaining. This is a habit I really struggled with, I would complain and make excuses constantly. Until I realized I was being ungrateful and just did not believe in myself. This is part of my “Lessons in my 20’s series” . Comment down below and share a lesson that you’ve learned. Most black men who state these things are projecting. Sadly, I've heard certain men who have been told by their mothers not to bring a dark skinned home. Colourism affects darker skinned women both socially and systemically. Although i do think light skinned people do go through reverse colourism, mainly socially, as they are still a minority.

    So who’s gonna tell them immigration GROWS the economy? Last time i checked Canada was importing EDUCATED SKILLED WORKERS and it’s not like a severely underpopulated country bigger than a whole continent will take care of itself. Y’all should be grateful to immigrants. It’s a mutually beneficial relationship

    I found your video quite profound. I find that in the internet era, there are too many people advising how one should live their life; as you rightly pointed out, a lot of this advice comes from a subjective and not an objective place. I, unfortunately, took a lot of this advice and tried to apply it to my own life, which led to resentment and unfulfillment. Going forward, I aim to live an authentic life based on what I want and value, remaining open to whatever comes my way.

      @Letstalkwithshona 27 днів тому

      Wow thank you for sharing your thoughts ! Yes, it’s very true that the advice being dished out has little merit for most people. Many of these “gurus”, are pushing others to see themselves in comparison to everyone else. Rather than carving their own path and living life as they choose. All the best to you!

    Well said. My father is from Somalia and he NEVER taught me to be a colorist. He was light with light eyes and his mother was darker than me with light hazel eyes.

      @@Letstalkwithshona Absolutely. Trump has offered an inspiring deal to us. Never ever deal. I lived in US and these are the hard facts. 1. House prices extremely unaffordable even in small towns in Canada. You can get a house as low as 20k in US but in Canada minimum 400k in Ontario Canada 2. Salaries in Canada is low 3. Job market in US is very high 4. Universities and Schools are more in US 5. Sales tax is less in US, some states have zero sales tax 6. Land of opportunities. Many big businesses are in US and all technology, innovation, research happens in US. 7. So many hospitals are there in US 8. Climate is good in US 9. Highly educated professional immigrants in Canada surviving as taxi drivers, warehouse workers and other menial jobs. 10. No enough houses or affordable apartments to rent. Many people are living in dark basements even by paying high rents. Parking is extremely difficult to find 11. Car insurance is high in Canada 12. Transportation is well developed in US. .................and lot more

    What is the difference between the spread of Islam and colonisation? Nothing other than semantics!! The lack of basic social awareness is astounding.

    • @Letstalkwithshona
      @Letstalkwithshona 28 днів тому

      The spread of Islam was not based upon the erasure of culture. There is a very clear difference and distinction. And this video is NOT a discussion on Islam, stay on topic and keep discourse relevant. And do you know what the definition of social awareness is, I think your comprehension is very flawed. How unfortunate, read the room before trying to rage bait please.
