Hey! Just a little FYI for your future reference, I stream Plainwell's transmitter to broadcastify in pretty high quality, so if you want a higher quality version of the TOR-E audio, check out the archives from my stream 🙂

A couple interesting things of note that I didn't want to clutter the video with: * At about the time the TOR was issued at 1:37 (5:33pm actual time), spotters noted "rapid rotation" but nothing on the ground yet. * Briefly before the PDS upgrade at 3:29 (at about 5:48pm), a drop in the Correlation Coefficient radar data was evident (suggesting debris is aloft) and very strong rotation visible in the velo scans suggested that a tornado was in progress, which is likely the reason for the PDS upgrade. Additionally, right as the upgrade was happening, spotters reported a tornado touching down near Leonidas. This is supported by a video of the tornado (ua-cam.com/video/IzEqcMRGFBo/v-deo.html) which is purported to have taken place around 5:50pm. * At 5:53pm, spotters are reporting a "large tornado on the ground" headed east & golf ball size hail. * On the PDS TOR issued at 6:54 (5:57pm), the end includes the text about "Take immediate tornado precuations. This is an emergency situation.", which means that the forecasters at IWX decided to select the "Large/Violent Tornado" call to action option. I'm assuming due to the radar data and the spotter reports by this point. * At 6:04pm, fire departments near Centreville, MI are reporting roofs ripped off and multiple structure collapse (delayed). * My guess, with evident damage, concerning radar imagery (consistent & clear CC dropout, strong rotation), a pretty evident "hook" in reflectivity (not evident in the video due to it being a composite), and headed into the small town of Union City, IWX decides to go tornado emergency at 7:19 (6:11pm). The tornado was ultimately rated as a high EF-2, with wind speeds up to 130mph. Perhaps not as strong as most storms with Tornado Emergencies, but for this area, and with how it looked on radar, I don’t blame IWX for the decision.
