Gold base paint then candy apple red :) of you don’t use a gold base then it’s not gonna shine or match correctly . Then clear it with 3M clear coat from ace hardware. It’s price efficient!

Mine turns on a immediately shuts off

I’m loosing faith in Home Accents products. Build Quality is lacking and and quality control is non existent. The “stakes” aren’t stakes at all. You mean the 4” nails. Luckily I have my own stakes.

I tried assembling my stacked penguins when it was -10 degrees. The plastic started chipping and cracking. One of the Clamps broke smh. 1st box I opened the big penguin had a huge crack in its head so I had to exchange it. Only good thing was when I returned it the very next day it was 50% off and not 25% so I was able to get the price difference

Did it come with an actual outlet plug because mine just has the connector with 2 prongs and a screw cap

Did have trouble connecting any of the male/female ends ? The top curved piece to the straight piece is not wanting to connect for me

Most people will use a silver base coat this is the wrong color. I have painted cars bikes everything with custom colors. Don't let anyone tell you different. Silver is not the base coat to get candy apple red like Santa or low riders 💙🙏💪👌

I got the Rabbit from Home Depot last year, but just converted the light this year. I didn't think to use the C7 light/cord!! I made it harder on myself and made my own out of an extension cord and a regular size bulb 😮 I'm happy with it though, nice and bright. Also, I noticed on the instructions today it has a timer if you use battery operated function.....hence why I'm here, looking for where and how to find said timer! Lol. Thanks for the video! Great video. I would like to hang them on my fence secured with straps. I am concerned about not using the base. Can you disconnect it?

Do you store together or is it easy to disassemble?

You need a coathanger straightened out and hook squished, from the out to the in hole, to grab rope and pull through. And a large forstner or spade bit for your drill. 😂

These guys are making this project way too hard. Just use a heat gun and warm up the hot glue and flex the led bracket out of the holder, and drop it in the bottom of the base. I cut a piece of plywood and screwed it to the plastic mounting brackets. Also don't use the flood lights, use the govee screw in lamps and a keyless base, all much cheaper and they use the same phone app.

The white bulbs seem to be almost impossible to locate at any of my local Home Depots but crooks are selling them for $80+ all over Ebay right now.

What lights did you use to replace brand?

Link tree is awesome, will have to investigate that more, but wgich govee lihhts did you use for this project??

I was lucky to get 1 of each colour so far but yep, white are sold out almost everywhere. I also got napier family lights STI file to 3D print an insert to house a set of 9 led x 4 puck lights but may use the govee option you went with. Will assess costs. Thanks for the idea.

Wow you guys are insane I’ve never seen a house decorated on the outside and on the inside, that is a lot of work looks really cool. That’s a lot of work. It took me two months just to do my front yard and it’s taking me almost a month to take it down. I have nowhere to store all my stuff. my shop is packed full, just imagine where you guys store all your stuff and the hours you have putting it together great job oh and the money you have invested I no what I spent my wife about killed me it’s like an addiction I did buy a lot of things 50% off after Halloween, but I did buy a bunch full price
