Respectfully, I was wrong about Salman Muqtadir, I used to find him condescending and rude, but after everything that happened, he is a stand up guy and there is nothing that he could do wrong for me any more. But speaking about Mir of PizzaBurg, I followed this guy, during the student protests, this guys was enjoying life outside BD, enjoying the hard life and sharing pictures of booze and bars. He isn't someone, anyone should look up to, he doesn't care and is using his association with Salman Muktadir to promote himself and his business. Regardless, choose who you look up to wisely.

Takeaways at the end of the video: So the entire episode can be summarized to knowing your target customers and empathizing with them. Pizzaburg knows it's target customers, which is the middle class urban population. And every element of their brand serves the needs of their target customers. From the marketing to food taste to the store experience. Although I'm not that fond of Pizzaburg myself, as a UX Designer where I always need to empathize with the users/customers throughout the entire journey, I could relate to them a lot. Mir and Salman puts an effort to show up to the stores and experience everything from the perspective of the end user/customer. Not too many businesses care enough to do that. Which also shows where their priorities are, customers or profits.

Here are the Notes in short NOTES: WHILE STARTING OUT: 1. Before Jumping in any business first we have to research the market we are trying to target. 2. Don't waste a lot of money without knowing the consumer, at first create an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and see if people really need it. 3. When You are starting out try out strategies where you have the minimum amount of burn rate 4. Social media presence helps in many ways 5. Networks are important. Having a great network of people in different places would give you a lot of leverage BEFORE GOING TO VCs 1. From Bangladesh the best way of contacting Venture Capitals is through referral (Form Ayman bhaiya's perspective) So having good networking skills goes a long way 2. Having top-notch paperwork will help you land your first meeting 3. Before going to VC at first learn the language (POC- proof of concept, Product market fit, cash flow, burn rate, CAC - customer acquisition cost, Pitch deck, etc. are common terms to know)

Rafsan you are very bad host for taking interview of business people. And don’t interrupt the person who is trying to share his knowledge more deeper. And pivot asking question in the middle of answering a question. Hopefully in next interview you will correct yourself which will be more impactful.

Summary of whole podcast Firstly, thank you so much to Dekko Isho Venture Capital for bringing up a podcast that matches the level of India's best podcasts like Think School, Raj Shimani, GrowthX, etc. This podcast is about entrepreneur Ayman Sadiq. We have seen him in many videos as a motivational speaker, but this video focuses on his entrepreneurial journey. Ayman Bhaiya and Rafsan Bhaiya discussed: 1. IBA journey, getting logical framework for solving problem through business competition, 10 Minute School corverting concept into business, earn money by teaching and invest it in 10MS, how to do things efficiently with no money or low budget,Combine effort with Idea and make a MVP. 2. The importance of a pitch deck and converting an idea into a pitch deck where the main focus should be "WIIFT" (What's in it for them) for the recipients. 3. Moving From Sponsorships model to B2B, surviving Covid, B2B to B2C, earning 12 lakh in one day by selling one pdf. 4. The importance of networking and communication skills in finding foreign venture capital firms. 5. Key metrics that foreign venture capital firms look at before investing: - RAPU - TAM - SAM - SOM - CAC Lowering the CAC through organic reach by cracking social media algorithms. 5. Unit Economics and Data Rooms. 6. Why money for startups will not be given to SMEs: - Due to the high scalability in startups, investors can gain 10 or 100 times their invested money, thus 9 out of 10 startup failures do not incur significant losses for them. 7. Rounds of investment: - Seed - Series A - Series B - Series C 8. Lessons from the failure of big startups like Byju’s: an academic course business cannot succeed with a pre-recorded model. 9. Always think big: how to be a market leader, why holding the 1st position is important for Ayman Bhaiya, and how the people and IBA campus mentality shaped him. 10. The next business goal for 10ms is cracking the offline market. 11. Big CEOs like Javed Bhai and Shejad Munum Bhaiya, who are operating multimillion-dollar companies, what do they have that Ayman Bhaiya doesn't? - The composure and calmness. 12. What is happiness? - "Happiness is practice" - Alan Watts - "If you are so smart, why aren't you happy?" - Naval Ravikant 13. Personal milestones: - Half Triathlon - Winning many football championships - Content creation (স্কুলে কী শিখি নি, কলেজে কী শিখি নি, ইউনিভার্সিটিতে কী শিখি নি) - Opening 200 offline classrooms 14. Personal OKRs, efficient way of doa. 15. Lifespan and Healthspan 16. A 60-year dream to open an SME venture studio, Day time for Pitch deck and investment after evening football.

    - Effort is important. If you have an idea that you believe in then figure out a way to build it. - Prototype or a sample is more convincing than just explaining. - It is okay to change your business model to accommodate the current needs/goals. - Do your research and talk with people before doing sth for the first time. - Set your goals and work accordingly. - Learn from the failures of your competitors. - Happiness lies in the journey. The end is very short. - Write more- it helps build clarity and deliver properly.
