Great video
trigonometry approach is the most hardest of all😂
btw,its interesting of you using desaigncad. i have autocad😅
hmm.i need you or someone to show how to find radius using compass and ruler(or straight edge, whats the different betwen them?lol). what length of rad doesnt matter.
@@andreasadi591 Did you get it?
Hi, can you share the Excel file??
what software is this?
@Eljay-gi2hn It's called Design Cad 3D Max. Last I checked, it coat about 200 USD. Well worth it.
@ is there a place to get it? I’m just about to go into the last year of trade school and I have a feeling this will be quite useful Also if there’s any other material you recommend for surveyors to learn? This channels an amazing gem you have!
Sorry it came up with hj7jt initially, I’m sure I can find design cad 3d
I realize it's been almost three years since you posted, but wanted to send a big Thank You for the video. It has sure helped me in my efforts trying to find a way to get Excel to convert "total inches" into feet, inches AND fractions. I don't know if it's because I'm using an outdated version of Excel or not, but the "CTRL E" just will not work for me. I'm having to simply enter/type all the deconstructed values in manually. I know... it's way past time to update. Thanks again.
I was analyzing your channel which are really awesome and videos are so good . But due to some errors in your Channel and Videos like (SEO and Optimization ) Your videos are not Reaching your Targeted audience and that's why after uploading a lot of videos you are not getting expected Views and Subscribers in your channel . I am a UA-cam SEO Expert and if you want I can help you to solve these problems. As a result I can say that you will be able to see much better results than you currently have in your Channel. Do you want to see Your channel problems Report...?
Great to see you uploading videos again
May I ask, what software are you using?
@@davehammond9796 Heck ya! It's called DesignCad 3D Max Plus. I've been using it for years. Great product for the price, for sure. Good luck!
Nice video thanks. I have a question, which part of the mini prism (-30), must be aimed when measuring elevation, the two yellow triangles, the node point of the mini prism or the two points of the pivot axis (horizontal), in this case the mini prism is close and its miror must be moved up to to be perpendicular with the instrument, the work tolerence is +-0.5 mm.
They should be the same when the prism is perpendicular to the instrument, but I would use an auto level or digital level for sub-millimeter Leveling.
@@CONSTRUCTIONOMETRY-hj7jt thanks for responding, best wishes.
Thanks for your info I got the software can you help me with the zoom in and out I want to use it with mouse scroll wheel
Zoom in and out dynamically with the wheel . To zoom to a window hit the z and then left click left click for the window. Best of luck
@@CONSTRUCTIONOMETRY-hj7jt I see its hard to get used to it thanks for your feedback keep up the videos am learning a lot from you with the software
Thanks it helps
Hello, good afternoon, thank you very much for sharing that information. Could you give me that formula please?
The formula for which part do you mean?
@@CONSTRUCTIONOMETRY-hj7jt for the hánd rail
Thank you for the explanation
PC and pt and center point
Thanks. These are completely spontaneous. I will attempt to clarify in the future.
Contact email? Need help on a radius
The line you made that is 11% grade is actually the precise line of greatest decent by virtue of it being in the direction of the gradient vector, which is perpendicular to the normal vector and the level line you created.
Sorry I studied math and physics in college, but I did find the video somewhat helpful with figuring out the best way to deal with a carpentry problem.
Spoken like a true scholar.
bro!!!!!!!!! any carpenter can do that without all those chicken guts
Hahahaha
Thank you! New sub
Where I can download your file Excel.
Ultimately, my goal is to show my fellows how I solve problems so they too can do it too. While I haven't checked it enouph to publish it, I am always glad to share what I have.
learn how to pause and edit and pre plan your vids
That is a great idea. I will certainly do it when I have time. I hope it helps someone in the mean time.. Thanks
I cannot for the life of me figure out the last formula. Get it wildly wrong everytime i try
Pay close attention to the parenthesis, then I I think you'll get it. If you are still having trouble you can look up PEMDAS order of operations.
@@CONSTRUCTIONOMETRY-hj7jt you may as well ha e typed that in Japanese
@@Wjracer106 In the last one, mulitply a * a (10*10=100), divide 100 by the height h (100/4=25), this gives you x, add x + h (25 + 4 =29), this is your diameter, radius 29/2=14,5mm.
I opened the IMSI DesignCAD 3D MAX drawing, which is black. Can you help me? The drawing is from 2005

good information
Good but long process
I have not used autocad for years. There are always so many options and steps i thaught ut wiuld be good to record some steps for those who are new. Cheers!
Noise quality is "odd"?? Whatever you say bud.. can't listen to this shit at all. Almost as bad as an Indian teaching it.
thank you , you have given me a new perspective to get this done , I appreciate you for taking the time to do this
Intelligent content as well as having an applied directive. This is exactly what I was looking for and the content is truly a unicorn. This video reveals the difference between the caveman method and people that work with both skill and intelligence.
Thank you very much , but please at first the line wasn’t curved after you deleted the blue line, please what exactly did you press that gave you that perfect parabolic curve 🙏🏽?
Excel automatically chooses what to do. It defaulted to one line for each column. When you delete one line it automatically combines the data columns an rows.👍
@@CONSTRUCTIONOMETRY-hj7jt 🙏🏽thank you
Hello, your content is very interesting, but it is very complex for me as I have little knowledge, I have a geometry problem, I need to find the distance (x,y) from the center of an arc, can you help me?

I sure wish I knew what you do about this program. I am a beginner....I have been using design cad for years, but still only know a few basic commands
Let me know what project you're interested in doing. I could try to customize a video towards that end.
Do you still need help with thay?I can create a video to explain.
Great video - thanks for the insight!
Thank you, for your tutorials! However I just purchased this program. And I could use a little help. I'm wanting to draft furniture like cabinetry so I, can make it. So what I really need to know is how to create lines, individually, then attach them together in one unit. And also how to just delete a line. Hopefully you will take this challenge up and give me a helping hand. Thank you!
Cool. I'll make an attempt.
Great video !
I appreciated your time and effort.
Thx for your sharing. Could you teach me, how to draw a reverse curve if two tangent points are fixed.
I could try. Can you be more specific? TY

I came here HOPING to substantiate what I had read in a book . After watching ur video I’m more confused.
Let me know what your looking for. I'll clarify it for you if I can
I have to field measure a half circle in order to find the unknown radius. I have an idea of how to do it. I plan on using a straight edge ( piece of conduit) , then measuring the height of the arc, then using the Pythagorean theorem to find chord of half the arc. I was hoping your video would have gone over this formula in some way.
@@CONSTRUCTIONOMETRY-hj7jt I wish I could upload an image.
Send the formula. I can probably explain how it is derived geometrically.
@@CONSTRUCTIONOMETRY-hj7jt send it where, when I’m responding to you , I don’t have access my photos!!
Huh?
Love it !
Half the chord squared divided by height plus height = d divided by 2 equals striking point in my line of work aka the radius.
Nice one!
I'm going to witness some steel plate at a tank fab shop to determine if reqd radius achieved on plate bends. Easiest field verification method using a tape measure and chalk line?
I'm a piping guy not a tank inspector. Quick field tips please
