Paulo filmed it in the tree and far away, he had a better camera for that, i was able to get shots when it was closer. Cameras are a lot better now. We had 2 nights at Samburu Game Lodge, the hotel was beautiful & nice food served in the restaurant. We enjoyed going on 2 game drives a day. It was fun seeing the Osalot Cat and Crocodiles up close on the beach at night. The hotel was beautiful with delicious food served in the restaurant. We enjoyed talking to the guy’s in the African Workshop, the carvings of Animals and African Artwork was amazing. Some carvings took 3 to 4 days to make others took 3 months. Great question. They became orphans because their parents were killed by poachers. The baby elephants are looked after by the keepers for about 2 years, they are then taught to fend for themselves before being released into the wild again. Paulo & Kathy GB. 👍💞🐘

I enjoyed going round the Craftwork shop, so many awesome pieces and carved to a high standard. Yes the Tiger was nice, i loved all the animals, african masks and wooden spoons. We enjoyed our Lunch at Trout Tree Restaurant, it was a beautiful place, we loved seeing the Monkeys playing in the trees. And they chill the Beer in crates in the stream below to keep cool. What amazing African Artwork in this shop, i could have spent hours in here, the craftsmanship in making the wooden pieces was fantastic and the quality was top class. The guys looked after the Elephants very well & even slept with them, i took lots of photos and video, these beautiful Elephants..
