Oh its there nvm
Wheres the panzer 4?
Nice video! I just received 2 of the gray trucks yesterday in the mail as well as a set of extra stickers so I put the German iron cross on each door as well as noticed that from the factory they are being sent with the troop bed covers on backwards. The large opening should be to the rear so that troops sitting on either side can see out and the small opening matches up with the small window in the back of the cab. I usually do detailed dioramas but was wanting to do some more large playset type displays hopefully soon. Will have to check out more of your videos.
Nice colection, congratulations!
How well do the CTS Germans scale with Timmee and airfix soldiers? Was thinking about buying the CTS set but might not if they’re noticeably taller than timmee and airfix figures. I’ve accidentally gotten figure before that were too tall despite saying 1/32, and I felt really disappointed.
the CTS fit perfect with the rest of the Marx and Timmee!
Where do you get these army men??
So whatever happened to John Gelona? He hasn't been active for some time and no new videos have come out. So what's up? What's the mystery?
Cool, nice army men. I too have some WWII soldiers I have German, Russian, Japanese, Italian, British, Canadian and American soldiers. I also have some ancient soldiers Roman and Persians.
nice id love to see the ancient soldiers
@@johngelona3085 Yes, thanks 😊
The third lot of German figures after the Airfix lot are interesting. I wander what the brand of those are? Nice collection. Its always a pleasure to see different styles of these still lovable toy soldiers especially when they have good details.👍🇭🇲🦘🐨✌️
If you get a chance, another company the BMC vehicles are really nice as well as their playsets.
Salut my friend super Army super video subscribe subscribe...
"And.. Little things like that" looks at giant battle of Navarone mountain
The pose that you say is a "guy leading his troops"? He's part of the artillery crew. He's supposed to be pulling the firing mechanism. There is a 3 man crew in this set, one loading a shell, one firing the howitzer and the third an "observer" with radio.
Hmm 😮. You can actually simulate his one hand stand pose during transformation.
Disculpa en tu colección tienes soldados alemanes de la marca.... *Mars figures*
¡sí, son mis padres de cuando él era un niño!
Where did you get that
most of it was from classictoysoldiers.com, along with some Marx from my dads childhood

iWo Jima
Can I get some pls ❤❤❤❤ I will give you 100 AED
The Airfix range in the 70s was the best from 68 to 1980 they reigned Surpreme.
run that back
wow
Question, are your European street front houses made of plastic?
They aren't cheap plastic like you'd expect, they're a plaster-type material, similar to almost a brick (?) It's hard to describe, but its not the same material as army men
Cool
CTS really stepped up their game with their newer WWII sets. The sculpts and poses on this set are particularly nice. I really appreciate that CTS primarily focused on providing a good variety of combat poses, but also included some non fighting poses as well with this set. My only pet peeve is that every US Army set always has their figures wearing the late war M-43 field jacket. The M-41 field jacket was worn more commonly by soldiers throughout most of WWII. The M-43 didn't begin to be issued to front line troops until late into 1944. But it seems that vast majority of WWII US Army toy soldier poses are overwhelmingly wearing the M-43, or are marketed as soldiers when appear to look more like US Marines wearing dungarees ie Airfix American Infantry. Nuff said. I enjoyed you presentation. Great Job. Cheers!
How do these match up with TSSD US ww2 figures are they same size ??
Where did you get your machine gun guys, mortar guys, and the running guys along with that medic dude in your classic collection?
classictoysoldiers.com just go to soldiers->ww2-> german and they should all be there
@@johngelona3085 Thank you :)
New Sub!
Nice ship!
I find this video very entertaining
Nice addition to your collection! Yeah that UDT kit has been around at least since the 1950s. The Marx Marines currently being reissued by BMC include a Navy guy walking with a pistol and life-jacket that you can use as an additional crewman, by the way. MPC, back in the day, did a really nice soft-plastic P.T. Boat that came with swiveling machine-guns and crewmen, but it's been a while since it was last reissued.
I need to look for that, I'm planning on a D-Day set up so I need as many boast as possible. Thanks for the suggestion! Are you aware of any other 1/32-1/35 scale boats?
@@johngelona3085 The Toy Soldier Company up in New York has about 80 different items listed under "Boats" for 54mm toy soldiers. And incidentally they DO have that MPC PT Boat but it's listed as "very low inventory" so if you want it don't wait too long. But they also have Britains Deetail assault boats and such---check out their website. You might also want to consider home-made stuff. Some guy has a tutorial on UA-cam showing how to make some nice landing craft using cardboard and electrical tape. Painted green and black camo it looks great---and floats! I've also used wooden planks and blocks painted gray to make my own ships, like H.G.Wells recommends in his "Floor Games" book. Good luck with your "dio-drama"!
@@kellysnipe9586 I had ordered a Hanomag off of them before, I found they had great customer service. In one of their D-day playset I saw they had used a playmobil Cargo Ship which I found pretty cool. Thanks so much for the idea, I had only looked at their playsets before!
@@johngelona3085 Yep he uses a lot of Playmobil stuff including Viking and Pirate ships and what not---he's a pretty creative guy. I haven't ordered from them in years but you're right about the good customer service. Lately I've been buying my figures from "Toy Soldier HQ" down in Palm Harbor, Florida. It's a small old-fashioned toy shop specializing in plastic figures, run by a guy named Kent Sprecherko who's been in the hobby for years and is quite an expert. Unfortunately Palm Harbor is right next to Tampa Bay where the hurricane just hit, so I'm hoping the guy is alright and that his toy soldiers didn't float out to sea! I'll know in a few days because he's supposed to contact me about an order I placed for some blue BMC ex-Marx Marines.
@@kellysnipe9586 Here's hoping he did alright! Maybe some of the boats might be ok lol. I'm heading down to Florida for spring break, I'll stop by and check him out. Toy Soldiers stores are getting rarer and rarer these days, glad to hear there's a good one near where I'll be!
Lol I bought almost the same amount of classictoysoldiers stuff as you did. They had camo german tanks once upon a time...
those were the days... :')
When do you think you are gonna make a new video
How long does it take for stuff from classic toy solders to arrive
About a week for smaller stuff the playset obviously took a little longer maybe two or three weeks
I have a bmc king tiger jagdpanzer German soldiers a ww2 4 nation bucket and a green and tan soldiers bucket with German molds
Ive been thinking of getting the BMC Tiger, how is it?
@@johngelona3085 great its size is accurate and it has great details
Nice ship! Too bad toy soldier makers aren't making any sailors because they would look nice on the deck. But BMC does have a lot of soldiers in blue and Timmee has blue, light blue, and white soldiers which can be used as sailors. They would look great on your ship.
I'll check em out ☺️
testing....testing
upcoming.....
I used to be a fan of CTS but got fed up with everything being done in hard plastic. As for these CTS G.I. figures I had them but got rid of them. Too overdone and too expensive. Nowadays I just use Tim-mee Vietnam soldiers as WW2 soldiers, because even though the M-16 is out of place everything else fits---and Tim-mee is a lot more affordable and durable (and come in a variety of colors).
You forgot one THE ARMY MEN .... Wait jjhjfmdmd.xjdmmdjdmdmjdmdmdjdm pls send to CIA
cool figures!
My grandson has inherited a lot of Germans, he doesn't have as much armor as you do. He supplements his with Grey Timmee and uses them as part of his Evil Coalition; Grey Timmee and Germans = Arab Alliance Red Timmee = North Korea Black Timmee = Cuba Pink Timmee = Hydra (because it's the Sissy color) Maroon Russians = Russians Ironically, after 70+ years and Godzilla movies the Japanese have joined the Allies.
I love the idea of having Cuba as the baddies. That could make for a fun setup, with a "missile crisis" of sorts. Thanks for watching!
Just out of curiosity, I buy stuff for my grandson from BMC and have gotten some sets from Amazon, are there other good stores online I'm not familiar with? I admit I haven't looked very hard.
@@bladestar2322 I like to use classictoysoldiers.com , but BMC is a great way to go as well. Also on ebay there are a fair number of good soldiers, although may be more expensive
Oh, I have one more question. I'm trying to run down who made a town set that I still have the figures to. There was one cowboy throwing a punch, another guy on the ground who obviously got punched, a cowgirl with a pistol, a middle-aged woman who was a storekeeper or school marm, and a few others who were standard. I've had these since I was a kid and I'm 64. I keep wondering if the cowboy throwing the punch might be John Wayne? Don't know if they are Marx or something else.
@@bladestar2322 the closest I could find was this: ebay.com/itm/222871698898 It is in fact Marx, and I believe they are from the 50s or 60s
do you know where you can buy the vehicles, like amazon or other shops online?
classictoysoldier.com is where I got the majority of my collection, but eBay is good for older figures like Marx. Amazon has goodplaysets from BMC toys as well!
@@johngelona3085 Thanks, Love your vids!

Hello , i want to ask what is the lenght of the classic toy soldier panzer IV (with gun forward) ?
Hi! I measured from the tip of the gun to the end of the vehicles, and its about 8 inches, or a little more than 20 centimeters long!
@@johngelona3085 the total lenght of Panzer IV is 7,02 Meter , so the scale is around 1/35 or 1/36
@@stevenharsono9911 yeah, the scale isnt exact, i believe army men scale is 1/32, but its close enough to where it fits in no problem
Well it’s not German the truck is based off a m35a2 that’s from the us made during vietnam war
It can pass as an Opel Blitz in the grey.
Where can I get hold of these soldiers?
In classic toy soldier com
