Welcome to Fairport Rails UA-cam, I mostly do railfanning videos and model railroading. I also do plane spotting and occasionally train simulators. Every now and then I might do a random video that has nothing to do with trains. If you like my content please consider subscribing also like us on Facebook FairportRails/ and follow my flicker page flic.kr/p/2mPtwDn

Nice!!
13 has an interesting whistle. Its a 6 chime but i cant put a name to it. Man i wish they ran 13 more than they did. Awesome engine
Awesome & when will you come to newark ohio hopefully you'll be able to check out the new gated crossing signals at the east main street & east church street railroad crossings but I can't wait for the X stone trains to start running back & forth to st Louisville ohio & newark ohio I got a new phone for christmas & happy early new year's eve
Outstanding video and thanks for sharing. Dave
Cool stuff👍 And the best Music I ever heard on a Railroad page 🤣🤘
Great video I'm glad this engine is seeing new life I can't wait for Ohio Central to start running stone trains to st Louisville ohio Hopefully you'll be making more videos
So did the 8420 get sent away?
@@winkelmannchannel971 it's in painesville yard and has a upcoming overhaul
Great video showing the progression of this switcher. Nice it was saved, and I love that blue paint.
Good video 😊
does she still have her old BC&G whistle in this?
Very nice, thanks for sharing. Dave
GREAT TO KNOW THE ENGINE LIVES ON, AMAZING HISTORY
Does that train go through twinsburg 🤔
This is definitely a good Q204!
Now hang on a minute! When did that thing of beauty pass by? I lived behind the exact railroad for years and I seen many unique locomotives like nkp 765, but I never seen that one pass by
Silver Solarium & Silver Lariat from the CB&Q?
@@cats0182 yes
Awesome! Love the BNSF leader
To be honest this is the best location to get trains
One question where was this film at?
@@matiahayes36 Roanoke, Huntington, and Peru Indiana
Thanks@@fairportrails107
The amount of effort you put into the train video it deserves more views awesome video😊
@@matiahayes36 absolutely no clue why it is under preforming compared to my other videos
Muy buen video Excelente estimado amigo 😊
These trains where special
@@railyardfilms6491 they were a better system than regular piggy backs if they would've invested more into it
Outstanding video and thanks for sharing. Dave
Thanks for watching
Those were some cool-looking tank cars.
Nice catch
Hi! Great railfanning video. New subscriber. YT put you in my mix today. 😊
Passenger cars look awesome 🚂👍
CVSR stands for Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.
no Cuyahoga Valley
@@fairportrails107 Right, sorry about that, must've got my mind all mixed up so my mistake
Excellent video really enjoyed watching it. Keep up the great work thanks again and have an awesome day.
Thanks, you too!
I actually went there a few weeks ago to see if the local train was running. Wasn't lucky, but I did go over to that same yard to see all sorts of locomotives there, I think including a Genset from NS, but I could be wrong
@@RailfanKnexified that's a different yard
Oh. Where was that then?
@@RailfanKnexified well all those locomotives are in the west yard in fairport owned by horizon rail
@@RailfanKnexified this was shot at csx painesville yard
Gotcha. I may go over to painesville at some point this week
I don't think that was 16G, though 16G turned into 16N, but that never passes here. So unless NS was still rerouting trains 2 months after the horrible derailment in East Palistine, it was maybe 316.
@@RailfanKnexified 16G ran via youngstown line for a few months after the east Palestine derailment
Ok, I kinda figured that was probably the case, since the date you posted that was back in 2023.
Hello Knexified
@@JaxonB-Railfanning Hello Jaxon!
👍
From 9:22 to 16:00 I like how you can tell there’s a tiny bit of wheelslip as the EM-1 is moving based on how the exhaust beat changes slightly.
Very nice video 🚂👍
@@Northcoastrails thanks
It’s me EMERY!😃
Hi Hagan
Great shots there mate, looked like a fun chase!
couple of great views!
Not just a couple but many 😂
W
Awesome video
Thanks
Nice grab👍
The EM-1 Was The Pride OF The B&O And Regarded BY Most B&O Personnels AS Their Favorite Locomotive But Oddly Despite It's Huge Capacities IT Was One OF The Smallest 2-8-8-4s Ever Built Size Was Dictated BY Tunnel Restrictions
When The Allegheny Grades Were Dieselized They Were Shifted West And Ran Ore And Coal TO The Erie Lake Ports From Wheeling Sounds OF The EM-1 Baltimore And Ohio Articulateds Were Provided BY The Railroad Record Club IN Hawkins Wisconsin
Yes for the cl&w these trains on the lake branch didn't go out of wheeling they went via Newcastle to youngstown then to deforest junction in warren
Wow that’s interesting to see 3 geeps and long hood forward too. Great catch
Nice video 🚂👍
Great catch of the LHF action!!
Nice grab👍
Sounds Like Frisco 1522's Whistle!
that K5H is harmony on wheels
Agreed
Awesome sound, also Video❤️❤️
Love WLE!! Have a great new week! Thumbs up as always!
Thanks B&O
