A heartfelt thankyou to those at the GLHAC for producing this delightful tribute to Willo who was a true towering giant among men. What Willo achieved with his little 2 Litre Celicas at Bathurst year after year will survive into the future until the end of time. How he managed to put these stunning annual Bathurst packages together where everything usually appeared to run way ahead of expectations will baffle me into eternity. He somehow configured his chosen Celicas to not only outperform allcomers in his own 2.0L Class, he consistantly ran away from 3.0L cars & reliably outlasted 5 & 5.8L cars which often blew up or melted down whilst trying to cover the same distance in a similar hurry. How he did this is simply mind boggling & he did it affably & with great wit & fabulous dry humour absorbing all the stress as he sliced through his strong opposition. The in-car footage & thoughtful commentary he produced was superb & innovative. We travelled with him as welcome considered front seat passengers down the Mountain at perilous breakneck speed in perfect safety as he deftly aimed & shot his amazing little car from apex to apex zipping past fearful bewildered others not prepared to travel so stunningly quickly which sat us on the edges of our seats time & again. Willo was every bit the true champion. He carried us where we'd never ever been before. He did it all with style. We're not likely to ever see another like Willo in this lifetime. He was easily the very best at what he set out to achieve. Thankyou for this quality presentation. Willo was amazing. I'll never undestand how he did it. Words are not enough.
