The suspension on the Honda is a deal breaker, which is unfortunate because otherwise it would be fantastic.

Pull that KDX snorkel right out, its not doing anything and u gain 1 hp thru out entire rpm range. They are strictly for sound dampening the intake noise and if u got a pipe on u aint worried bout noise. Removing that and a 13t front sprocket these bikes get up and go pretty good. Those tires actually work well in everything u would be riding in NH {except mud} if u air them down. Takes a little effort but its nice having a tire being good on and offroad with a little adjustment vs suffering thru knobbies on pavement and burning them up every 1k miles.

Nice bike. I recently got one and like it quite a bit more than my previous WR250R.

I got the same one i think looks the same I need to figure out beefing up the back suspension tho it’s way to soft cant do anything without looking like it’s sagging But other then that love it

Thanks for your reply Frank. Since Lake Parlin stopped serving food, Pittston kinda going down hill and Mikes just above Sky Lodge in Jackman closing, it just doesn’t have the same feel. Never been to Millinocket and I’ve lived in Maine all my love. 59 years! Bringing the wife and two small dogs so hoping to find a cozy cabin system that allows pups. Watched serval of of videos and really enjoyed. Thank you!

Just found your channel. I’ve been sledding in Jackman for 12 years and no where else. I was told a couple weeks ago Millinocket is a great place to sled. Are there any good places to stay (rent) like cabins etc?

I was thinking about a two-stroke but the neighbors sure would hate the noise. The Klx 300 has been another bike I have looked at. Nice and quiet. Better than getting shot at.
