hey i’m looking for one of these are you willing to sell it?
@GregoryByerly-eg6vq yes I'm about to list it for sale. Located in CT.
Thank you. Very useful video.
@@dbf_91 thank you for watching
So what are ya thinking, and where you so i can get a shipping rate?
@timn9418 truck is a good runner but has a lower end noise we didn't hear until we got the exhaust quieted down. The truck is located in CT and I would need $5000 firm for it to cut it loose before I list it. It isn't advertised anywhere yet but will be soon at $6000 obo.
Is that truck forsale?

Welcome to all the ford f150 led blind spot tails. It is in no way just a ligtning thing.
When I bought my Flash, the dealer told me about this and talked me into an extended warranty. He used the replacement of the taillights as an example.
Those are awesome and they drive very nice and smooth
Mind just broke I'm fix it like this 😂😂
What did you pay for it ?
@@toddmccollum6750 just under $15k before fees.
I like the knobs on the tread. Almost an all terrain in whitewall. Exactly what im looking for. How have these performed for you so far?
@DESERTHAWKIN we have driven the truck less than 1000 miles on them but they have performed fine.
@Thingswithwheels1 could you do me a favor and check how wide the whitewall is with a penny, Nickle and a dime? I'm wondering if there as wide as the coopers I'm replacing (penny width). A dime was under a nickle was over the penny was exact. I'm planning to order a set of these.
@DESERTHAWKIN rather than seek out coins I threw a tape measure on them: the Whitewall is 5/8" wide. Thanks for watching and make sure to subscribe for more content!
@@Thingswithwheels1 perfect. I do appreciate it.
I just bought 2 of these bikes for Christmas! Thanks for the video. What iPhone holder is that on your bike? Let me know.
Great reviewing style for this cheap tire. Folks that review tires should include if they took a lot of weight.
@thegonz7833 thank you for the kind words, I appreciate you watching!
Thanks for the video, nearly every review seems to be of extended range batteries with all the reviewers basically saying "don't bother with the standard range". But what seems to be the case with most reviewers, I'm not going to be commuting 500 miles daily while towing a huge trailer. I'm just a homeowner that wants a spacious vehicle for hardware store runs and taking stuff to the dump, while also having that vehicle being able to move the family around town comfortably. The past two years, the longest roadtrip I've done is around 125 miles. To me the standard range just seems like a right choice.
@Jeriacor if you go in eyes wide open it can be a great choice to go SR and save a lot of money. Like you, my trips with the truck are mostly short range in nature and getting up to a full "tank" most mornings is a time saver vs visiting the gas station. I have posted videos reviewing the towing and load capacity too if you are interested in those things. More videos to come, please subscribe if you have already. Have a fantastic day.
I have a 2008 Expy EBand had the rumble strip trans issue. Did a drain and fill with filter change with Mercon LV and runs super smooth now. Very comfortable vehicle and fits my family of 5 just fine. Next project is a spacer lift kit or Dobinson lift with some 33s
@@lvwrx sounds like a great truck! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for your videos. I just purchased a 24 flash last week. I have a swimming pool maintenance route currently drive an F150. Do you have any advice on an adapter for charging at a Tesla station? The Ford adapters are showing currently unavailable so I’m on an email list. Is there one you would recommend purchasing in the meantime?
@@royalpools i actually did a video on the A2Z. The model i have was recalled, but they are now producing a similar new model at around the same price that I highly recommend! Thank you for the kind words.

Just bought a 2013 EL limited. Single owner been in Georgia and serviced at Ford dealerships its whole life.171,000 hopefully i have as good of a machine as you! How is it now a year later?
@Christophercreamer89 it's served us perfectly, 2 cross country trips and zero problems other than rust in the Rockers. Congratulations on yours and thank you for watching.
So how about if one has 360000 miles on it?
@TmP45 thanks for watching! At 360k miles I'm going to guess most major parts of the powertrain have been replaced. If it has a newer replacement engine and trans, etc I would consider it. If it's on the original powertrain I would probably pass.
Best truck. I tow almost daily. Dump trailer 8k-10k lbs. no problem. Save ton of $$ on gas
@hbr6192 that's fantastic! Thank you for watching!
What can I do for the noise 😂 absolutely insane! 😂
Are yours loud like mine too? Lol
@ well come to find out it’s the wheel bearing 🤦♀️ but I honestly thought it was the tires at first because the nose started right after getting them put on! 🤣
@@amandawarren6315 I changed my wheel bearings before my tires and got these and wow they are so loud on asphalt and high speeds. Probably going to change them
@Concrete4life they are very loud. In fact I would call them "mud tire loud" when they are in fact less aggressive all terrains.
Two tone Eddie Bauer paint with heavy duty tow package is cool.

This same thing just happened to me, quoted 3k for replacement 😱- how did the used replacement work out? Did the replacement you used have the sensors, etc, or did you use your old sensors?
@TraderNicks thank you for asking. I moved the sensor from my original light into the new housing. This spared me of paying a Ford dealer $175 to program it. Other than that, my replacement taillight has a tiny flaw on it that I don't really notice, but I do notice the $2000+ savings in my wallet! Thank you for watching!

That is sad for me. My work commute is HWY. I was worried about the range and you boosted it. Thank you. I have a level 2, 48A charger, how many hours will take for a full charge, you think?
@alp3781 if you commute and charge just at home, you could charge to 90% each night. If you leave yourself a 10% buffer on the trip. 80% x 98 kW usable battery storage (if you get a standard range Lightning)= 78.4 kW to be replenished (which should provide you around 160 miles of highway travel). It should take a 48a charger about 7 hours to charge the truck back to 90% from 10%. In other words, about 7 hours to recharge IF you drive 80 miles each way to work. One last note: if you are in a cold climate it will negatively impact range in winter. Expect to lose probably 10-20%. Overall these things are far cheaper to run than their gas counterparts (no maintenance other than tire rotations for the most part) but you need a plan going in. I'm thrilled with mine because I fully understood what I was getting into. Let me know if I can help further, and subscribe for more content!
@ Spot on, on everything. The price on Flash dropped more and I think even more, in the coming months. My commute is 25 miles, each way, so not too bad, I just worried about the ride stress for batt life. I am in the North East and not all places, all chargers do work. I think, one car in the house should be gas, for sure. I need to deeply think about leasing one as first electric truck. Going to ride one soon to test. Thank you for the reply.
Go toyo Open country AT3. I run them on my Ram 2500 and get about 45,000 mi out of them. On a Jeep that weighs half of what my truck does you should easily hit 60k
@bigseff23 thanks for watching!
Its all about cost savings for me. Got a 2014 model s. Free supercharging for life. Over the past 47 months it has saved my family an average of $998 per month on transportation costs. $46,906 saved in the 47 months since making the switch. On top of that, its fast, fun, looks nice imho, has great technology, its quiet, no smell or emissions. And has autopilot, making road trips way easier in terms of mental fatigue. The crash safety is very good, so is the sound system. I couldn't be happier. Glad others are having similarly positive and money ssving experiences by switching to and owning evs 💚🙏👍👍
@jackgreenstalk777 i just calculated that at current fuel prices I can drive the Lightning 57.92 miles for the cost of a gallon of regular fuel. Our Golf is even more efficient. And to your point they are super quiet, don't emit any smell, etc. Thank you for watching and for contributing!
Love the channel so far!…it’s been nice to see some genuine videos on real life uses & overall reviews on the Lightning. I wanted to ask, what’s the name of the incentive program you mentioned with your power company?…I’m in NY, & either I’m looking up the wrong thing, but I can’t find the correct programs for charging at home! Thanks!
@marqh984 mine is probably exclusive to CT. It's the Eversource Managed Charging Program which is managed by Eversource in part utilizing funds from the state of CT.
Trading it in
@nathanfisher4452 glad to see you tuned in thank you for watching!
In addition to all the things you mentioned, the number one for having EVs is the serenity and peacefulness of driving them. We have a model Y and Rivian R1S, and we're never going back to a gas vehicle. Everything you said is so true and thanks for sharing. I'll save your video to share for the EV skeptics out there.

I too drive like a child in my lighting!
Wow! something I didn’t consider.
I have a '24 Flash I tow a pretty good sized trailer with it for my business each day for work around the Minneapolis metro. It does everything I need it to. Plus it saves a huge amount vs gas. It just charges overnight and in cold weather I just set a departure time and it warms the cabin, seat(s), steering wheel and battery each morning so cold weather losses aren't a worry during the morning. It tows like a dream, though I wouldn't want to tow long distances due to relatively poor DC fast charging performance.

I can't find one video of the seats being down in the back of this year vehicle. Anybody have one??
@@ErmWhAtDaShIgMa subscribe to the channel. That's a great idea for a video. I'll get one up in the next week!
How do you disable the lights around the truck so they don’t come on every time I exit the vehicle?
@JimmyBamis on the radio there is a choice for "Features". Under features is "Zone Lighting". You can choose what lights get illuminated when you leave the truck (or approach it) or shut them off completely. The lights being on has virtually zero impact on range. Hope this helps. Thank you for watching and subscribe for more content!
Home is $0.07 /kwh. Public charging here is $.64 kWh.
Wish they’d give us a gas option like an inline 6.
I just grabbed a set of Trailclimber AT 2's and instantly dropped 6 mph highway. That's the only complaint. I'm off road working more than one road so they were needed... but a 6 mph drop highway.... ugh
