    Good morning. Thank you for sharing. I noticed the mention in the video description about the Traxxas T-Maxx 3.3 and the decision between upgrading to the 3.3 engine or opting for the Big Block Conversion. Since your truck is already the 3.3 version, I'm eager to see how it performs with the upgraded Traxxas 3.3 engine. It would also be intriguing to see it equipped with a Big Block. Looking forward to seeing what you decide!

    Don’t ever put wd 40 in these motors. Its a solvent that does evaporate quickly. Will break down lube in your fuel. Omg.

      @AnthonysRCWorld Місяць тому

      Thank you for sharing your concerns. While WD-40 is indeed a versatile product, it's not suitable for RC engine maintenance due to its solvent nature. To address this, after using WD-40, I always apply After Run Oil to properly lubricate the engine, safeguarding it against any potential breakdown of lubricants in the fuel. Your feedback is appreciated, and I'm committed to ensuring the best care for our RC engines.

    • @AnthonysRCWorld
      @AnthonysRCWorld 2 місяці тому

      The gray wire on the Spektrum Firma 100 amp Smart ESC that you see on the battery connector is for telemetry data. This wire is used to transmit information from your ESC to a compatible receiver or telemetry-enabled device, allowing you to monitor various parameters such as battery voltage, temperature, and current in real time. If your battery doesn't have this wire, you won't be able to utilize these telemetry features unless you use a battery that includes this capability. Example is the Spektrum 7.4v 5000mAH 2s Smart Hard Case LiPo Battery.

    I have found that spraying 2 spots on your matt where you do your first burnout saves a bunch of simple green over time. Just make sure the tires get nice and coated on the first burnout then dry them off and get heat on a dry spot and they're just as sticky. Great video and I'll compare to what I'm running. @AnthonysRCWorld 6 місяців тому

      Hey there, Papote! Thanks for tuning in. Let me break down the Advance Timing Settings for you: Drag Race 6 Profile: Turbo Position at 100% means that the turbo boost kicks in when you press the throttle and it reaches all the way to 100%. (Remember that we have set stages that = to a total timing of 1.20 seconds to reach 100%. The Turbo Delay is set to 0.10 seconds, which means there's a tiny pause of 0.10 seconds after hitting full throttle before the turbo boost starts. Under "Up Slew Rate," the turbo gradually increases by 6.3° every 0.1 seconds until it reaches the max speed we've set at 40°. Drag Race 2.20 Profile: For this profile, the Turbo Position is at 90%, which means the turbo boost starts when you reach 90% throttle instead of 100%. The Turbo Delay is the same at 0.10 seconds, giving a brief pause after hitting 90% throttle. Similar to the first profile, under "Up Slew Rate," the turbo increases by 10.3° every 0.1 seconds until it reaches the max speed we set at 60°. Feel free to ask if you have more questions or need help with your settings.

    Does anybody have motor fogging issue with there 22s mine just started once I changed my pinion to 20 tooth? Anbody know why?

    • @AnthonysRCWorld
      @AnthonysRCWorld 7 місяців тому

      Hey there, I'm really sorry to hear that your Losi 22S RC car is having a problem with motor fogging after you changed the pinion gear to a 20-tooth one. It can be super annoying when unexpected issues pop up during our RC adventures. As for my setup, I use the default Spur Gear (the big gear) with 84 teeth and the Pinion Gear (the small gear) with 16 teeth in my Losi 22S. While it might not directly solve your problem, I can tell you that this setup has worked well for me in terms of performance and reliability. Now, about the motor fogging issue, it can happen for a few reasons, and it's important to figure out what's going on. Here are some things you can check: 1. Gear Alignment: Make sure the pinion gear and spur gear are properly aligned. If they're not, it can cause extra friction and heat in the motor. 2. Motor Temperature: Keep an eye on how hot your motor gets while you're using it. If it gets too hot, it can create moisture inside the motor, leading to fogging. Make sure it stays cool and doesn't overheat. 3. Airflow: Make sure there's enough air moving around your motor and electronics. Good airflow helps to keep things cool and prevents moisture from building up. 4. Connections: Check all your electrical connections, like the wires and connectors on your motor, to make sure they're secure and not exposed to moisture. 5. Environment: Think about the weather when you're driving your RC car. If it's really humid or the temperature changes a lot, that can contribute to the fogging issue. "I'm hopeful that other people who have a Losi 22S might have some advice if they've had a similar problem." And definitely, get in touch with Losi's customer support. They might have run into this issue before and can give you some specific tips for your situation. Keep the RC racing spirit alive and keep pushing your Losi 22S to its limits. With some patience and determination, you'll figure this out and have plenty of successful runs ahead.

      Hello Greg, First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your service as a disabled veteran. Your sacrifice and dedication are truly appreciated. I'm genuinely sorry to hear about the frustrating experience you're having with Active Powersports. I don't have personal experience with them, so I can't provide specific insights into their operations. However, I understand your concerns. On a positive note, if you're expecting to receive your 1/10 scale RC Summit drag car in the middle of January and you were able to secure it at the advertised price of $163.19, it might be worth waiting until that time to see if they fulfill your order. Sometimes, there can be delays due to various reasons, and they might still intend to deliver your purchase. In the meantime, you might also want to consider checking the Better Business Bureau's Customer Reviews for Active Powersports online retailer at the following link: Customer Reviews for Active Powersports on BBB www.bbb.org/us/ca/escondido/profile/online-retailer/active-powersports-1126-1000081567/customer-reviews This could provide you with some additional insights from other customers who may have had similar experiences with the retailer. Again, I'm sorry to hear about your current situation, and I hope that your order arrives as expected in January. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out.

      @@ThaLs1thatcould Hi there, I primarily operate the Losi 22S on 2-cell batteries (which have a maximum voltage of 8.44V for a single pack). So, I might not be the best person to guide you on the settings or programming needed to run the car on a 3-cell (3S) battery. However, if you're aiming to use a 3S battery (with a higher voltage of 11.1V), here's a general approach to consider: Start with Mild Punch: Begin with a mild punch setting. This ensures that you can effectively transfer all of the car's power to the ground during take-off without causing the tires to spin excessively. Progressive Power Increase: Gradually increase the power as you go. This prevents the car from overpowering the tires during the run on the 132' drag strip. Launch Control: If your radio, such as the Spektrum DX5 Pro, has a point system or launch control feature, you might want to explore using it. Launch control can help you manage the power delivery more precisely during the critical launch phase. I'm not personally familiar with the DX3 transmitter and the Spektrum App, so I can't provide specific instructions for those tools. I apologize if I can't offer more direct assistance on this particular request. However, I encourage you to explore the features of your DX3 transmitter and the Spektrum App thoroughly, as they may have specific settings or options for optimizing performance on a 3S battery. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please feel free to ask. Best of luck with your RC adventures!

    What does the wd 40 do for the rubber

    • @AnthonysRCWorld
      @AnthonysRCWorld 10 місяців тому

      "When you put WD40 on your tires and let them sit in a sealed bag for a day, it makes the rubber on the tires softer. After that, when you put those tires on your RC car, you should do two burnouts. Spray some Simple Green on the tires and do a burnout on a fabric rug until the tire is clean. Then, move to a dry spot on the rug and do another burnout to dry the tire and make it hot. Now, you're ready to hit the track, and you'll see how the tires grip better."
