sadly, usdc still hasn't improved in many areas. it's 2024 and they still have zero public audits. why is that?

People should DYOR on USDC first before using it. Its still unknown if its really 1:1

I hope people don't wait for USDC to depeg again, just look for better alternatives.

USDC cant' even maintain its own peg.

The thing is, no one would want to use an unaudited stablecoin that always goes off its peg. If USDC has those problems, why not just use the ol' reliable, cash?

Hi, I noticed that one of your notes has a horizontal fold in it. I have seen this in many older notes - some that I own have both horizontal and vertical folds. I was wondering if there is a specific reason for it. It seems to be more prevalent in pre-1950s notes.

The first coin I remember* collecting was a 1958 Franklin half dollar, I got in change from my elementary school library after paying a late fee. The librarian was like "what's the big deal?" This was in circa 1975. I get it, to her 17 years ago wasn't very long ago, she probably didn't even know about the coined silver issue. * I know I collected some other coins before but it's the first one I specifically remember.
