I like Silva. I just am a little concerned taking the fight on short notice to high altitude of Colorado. What’s your thoughts?

I’m feeling Petroski here. I just wish the line was better. If Fremd backers push him into being a bigger underdog I’ll definitely bet on him. Petroski is very exploitable but idk if Fremd will be the one to exploit him.

Not super confident but I was able to get Tracy at +200. Figured there’s some potential value there. Same thing for Blackshear, was able to get him at +187. Not confident but the lines seem good.

I wanted to take Loosa, but Bonfim by sub seems most likely. Maybe even decision if he decides to fight a little safer, he’s certainly got the boxing to do so

I think what’s making me lean towards CRod is that he’s got really good pressure and is probably the better wrestler. I don’t see him finishing Erosa but in a battle between two round three fighters, I’m just more willing to back the guy who’s got a bit more going on defensively/technically. Also think CRod has a decent chance of finding a sub, as I can see both men engaging each other in the grappling.

I'm really onboard the Jean silva train. His confidence is for real. I mean, the way this guy moves in slow motion every time just gives you an idea of how absolutely certain he is that he will walk out with a victory. We'll see how this fight goes it's actually one of the only bouts on this weak card I'm excited about!

Swanson and Arlovski deserved the wins, too Imo. I hate seeing judges reward a guy like Buday when he performs like that against a 45 year old.

It was a cool card, not the best night for my bets. I hit De Oliveira by decision at +750 but ended up losing more bets down the stretch. I was honestly drunk most of the card so I didn’t pay enough attention but it was still cool. Ige stepping up on such short notice was awesome, even if I lost five bucks on him lol

I'm a jerkoff. He's not "in shape." This is a special catch weight 160 whatever weight fight. Still, huge kudos to Ige- and same goes for Lopes. Everybody has high hopes for him- myself included- but Dan Ige is still a very serious test. It takes HUGE BALLS to take a curve ball like this.

I’m basically in the same wagon. Betting on Garry simply because he’s got more upside. It’ll be close but I just think Garry has a bit more going for him. Beaten some good opponents recently, too. In my eyes, beating Neal and Magny, especially the way he did Magny, is more impressive than what MVP has done in recent years.

Im gonna say this respectfully because oftentimes when i disagree with your pick, I'm usually wrong. But Garry seems a bit too green going into this matchup. Comparing his early career in cage warriors as opposed to MVP in bellator, we see that MVP has fought the most seasoned fighters of the world in the 2nd biggest mma promotion And we also see that his skills are directly transferrable to the ufc, becoming a top 15 in his first fight. He has all the experience that Garry lacks, and like you said about mvp vs. holland, Garry isn't gonna wrestle MVP for 3 rounds. And in a striking battle, I would trust MVP's refined instincts and his 6-inch reach.

I was originally taking Fili by default but you’ve convinced me. I remember wishing I had bet on him against Dawodu. Never regret putting some money on a gritty vet.

I’ve always felt like Volkan has been underrated at 205. Would love to see him get a win here, and I think it’s very possible. He’s had some sneakily good wins while Walker has just not really impressed me much since his first UFC win streak. I threw some money on Volk’s ML, too.

As someone who knows Carli personally, I can say that her grappling does need a little work. However all of her wins are in the first round via KO/TKO. She’s taking her official Debut very seriously and I think I see her winning this via Decision or TKO. She’s an absolute dog and a solid betting underdog.
