The Class 222 Meridian DEMUs are very nice trains but they are scheduled to be replaced by the Class 810 Aurora IETs this year. And I do think that ScotRail should inherit the Class 222s. And maybe EMR could keep some of the Class 222s.
@@Andrewjg_89 Yeah the class 222s are underrated in my opinion, especially the first class seats. The Class 810 do look nice and modern but the first class seat don’t look half as comfortable as the ones on the Class 222s. I think ScotRail will inherit them too, only logical plan for them. Either that or give them to Cross Country. Need to do a video on ScotRail first class on their HSTs before they get scrapped. EMR could keep some for their Liverpool To Norwich Route
