Was in a 17yr long friendship with a person like this. Didn’t end until just before my birthday last year. I heard God so clearly when he said if you don’t separate from this person they will separate you from yourself and all you’re connected to. When you separate yourself from your friend, do we need to share with them why?? I have done this, but my husband is still good friends with this person because he doesn't understand that the enemy has been using him/her to stop our walk with Him and try to hinder our marriage. I’m so upset I had this same experience I went to get a quick blow out. She wash my hair and then blow dried my hair and it was so beautiful. After two weeks I shampooed my hair and it was bone straight. It looks like a perm or texturizer of some sort. I’m so upset I Been natural for 15 years and I set back in back to square 1. I don’t know what to do I thought about cutting all my hair off and starting over.

What I learned about the Dominican salon that I have been at for 13yrs+ in West Philly, if you dont have a person that listens to your concerns just look for another. I told them from my first few visits no blowdry, just roller set, and JUST flat iron I told her only a lil blow dry on my edges, I never got blow dried again and that worked for me. I also stopped getting shampooed at the bowl,I was bringing my own shampoo and conditioner and the owner was cool w that but they were not taking time on the comb out, I have long thick hair and i was losing balls at the bowl so I started shampooing at home (they are good w me coming w my hair shamp+condit) i just let her roller set me when i get there w my plastic cap on,also my stylist is older like me 50s so she listens and I dont let them trim me anymore since 5+yrs, i used to only let the owner trim me but after some attacks, I stopped letting anyone but me trim my hair...I have heard horror stories about them puttin perm in the shampoo, im permed 3x a yr since 14yo so 35yrs my hair is used to 3x a year, i still braid and plait.75% of time and wear it straight once every 6-8wks.... Glad your hair has come back🙏
