Mine did something like this when low on water

Fixed: Battery replaced.

This should really be taken down because it's wrong. Bobbin should turn counter clockwise

...you have on the cover printed which way the coil is going and you put it opposite way

The bobbin is placed in backwards according to the diagram. It should look like a P, with the thread coming off the left side of the bobbin not the right side of it.

brining this back from the grave. Mine does the same thing. It is not the starter and not the battery. I haven't figured it out, but I have tested those separately.

Other videos show the bobbin is loaded and fed through the chrome tang counterclockwise. The diagram on the clear plastic cover ALSO shows to load it counterclockwise. You loaded it clockwise. Is there some specific reason that you cannot SPEAK? Voice is at least half the reason to create a video! This video & others with no voice deserve an immediate thumbs down - no exceptions.

You put bobbin in wrong way round, opposite to the diagram on the cover.

I had the same issue. Replaced the Battery and it did again after 4-5 weeks. Rocked the car and it started. looks like the starter motor.

Did the noise you experience come on suddenly? Mine was running great that day... Parked it for two hours. Went to move it and the noise began immediately upon that start up.
