Good morning! I hope you had an amazing Easter! I just wanted to thank you for this and all your posts! I had the privilege to meet you once when my boss spoke at AU, and I sat at the same table as you. It was great to talk with you that day, and then working with Nicole Bowen - I heard about your posts and I looked them up and have been getting them ever since. They are so inspirational, and your zest for life and the Lord really are a bright spot every time I listen! They are always good, but sometimes that are exactly what is needed - whether it be a pick me up or a wonderful reminder! So, as someone who benefits and is blessed by them, I wanted to say Thank You!!! I hope you have a wonderful day!

Listen to God. God sent his friends to warn him, he ignored. God sent a cyclone to deter him, he ignored. The islanders shot an arrow through the bible, 3 times he ignored. Learn not to your own understanding...

I think there's a much better lesson that can be learned from this whole sad story. And that's to leave people alone who want to be left alone. The Sentinelese people quite clearly do not want outsiders coming to their island. Plus the fact that the Sentinelese would not have any immunity to western germs and viruses. By going there to spread the word of God the only thing that missionaries will be likely to be spreading are germs that these people will have no resistance to. Seriously even something like the common cold could be fatal to these people. Sadly I see many Christians who see John Chau as a martyr and are even more determined to go to North Sentinel Island to convert these people. John Chau is not a martyr, he's sadly a guy who threw his life away on a suicide mission (pun intended).
