I owned this model of bike in 1967. Best memories of all the bike I have ever owned. Put 38,000 mies on it before I move up to the CB 450 another great bike. It was a fantastic handler on the back roads of Connecticut USA. I purchased it from my father friend who worked part time at Manchester Honda in Manchester Connecticut for $350. He raced it, with modification which included a beefed up clutch. vented front break drum, shaved head to bump compression and polished ports and bobbed tall section. He had trouble blowing head gaskets until he used Dow Corning vacuum grease on the gaskets. Back in the day I could buy 100 octane fuel at a gas station in Vernon CT. Top end was around 105 mile per hour and got there in a hurry!

Not sure why the owner put heated grips on it.... looks like its only ever been out in hot sunshine 😂

Goodness .... years ago I used to own one of these. At bike meetings I was always asked "Who made that?". After telling them Morini, the most common question was, "Who made the engine?" as if it was a Honda or something under there. Loved this bike and it handled really well - apart from in a cross wind when all that plastic acted like a sail!

My father was a Triumph agent, and I went many times to the Triumph factory at Meriden (with a lorry) to collect Silver Jubilees, along with other models. I also went into the factory and watched the old boys painting the red, white and blue pinstripes on the Jubilees, all done by hand. By then, it had become a worker's cooperative (set up by Tony Benn under Labour) but unfortunately they couldn't make a loan repayment to the new Tory Govt, so Thatcher shut them down

Suzuki is definitely underrated and amazing. This naked bike series is dirt cheap in South Africa and I've ordered one.

if one word can describe Suzuki's, is underrated. people here in my country bought things as a status symbol, people buy Yamaha YZF-R15 because they want the latest and newest and Honda CBR150R just because it was Honda's (this bike is absolute dogcrap if im being real, especially the 2016-2021 model, i mean, does that looks racebike to you? up right position, really?). i bought Suzuki GSX-R150 because mainly it was very cheap, the fastest in its class despite having the smallest cc (147cc), overbore engine design, and importantly SCEM coated cylinder because it's strong so strong all shop ive been to refused to bored it because it'll break their machine, i want to install a turbocharger on this bike in the future because of that.
