This song is the voice of Ukraine. In it, Ziferblat sing about migratory birds. A lot of Ukrainians have flown away from their homes like these migratory birds because of the war. So each of us is waiting for those good, bright times, just like birds wait for spring to come home. The band also says that this song will resonate with anyone who is experiencing separation from loved ones and is eagerly awaiting the moment of their reunion. In their performance, they specially used light to show the sunset at the beginning of the song and the sunrise at the end. "Tautumeitas" in Latvian means "Folk girls" - a folk band that makes modern folk type music with lyrics by Latvian folk songs. Song's translation is with magical touch: "Spell me happiness". I see this performance with Latvian pagan beautiful witch movement, which was many girls and women that time. They were doing that in the forest thicket, so I see that as them in the forest making magic rituals to spell them happiness for all the life. This song is made in the ancient folk song style with many repeats to make the spells work better. In my opinion, they were deserving it the most, because, even other performances were good, too, they made it the most homogenous with show, vocal and song and performance was made in Eurovision style, too.

I am so happy and same time emotional. Happy because of Erika finally reached the top. And she gonna get that which already belonged to Käärijä but it belong to Erika as well. I guess you will yet to hear about the back vocalist in some not too distant future. She had the entry of her own but didn't qualify. The song and production didn't do justice to her talent. Yet she's young, participated in The Voice of the Country in 2023. I recall on blind auditions the judges were simply blown away by her singing. Khrystyna Starykova is her name.
