Tom, we can get you boobs. They would be glorious. I love that he loves all of the incarnations of Loki and is so well versed in them. And dammit, that issue with Loki turning the cars into ice cream is just magical.

Tom's response to my friend Nechama's question of what was his favourite Norse myth involving Loki. His answer was the one concerning Svadilfari and the birth of Sleipnir. The one where Loki has sex with a horse and gives birth to an eight legged foal. He's so cute when he tries to get around actually saying Loki has sex with a horse.

He did not distract the female horse. He WAS the female horse. He distracted a female horse (i.e slept with), and had an eight legged horse baby.
no in the myth it says thor made him turn to a female horse to lead the blacksmiths horse away and into the forest and loki did and got raped.... he didnt do it willingly
Sam O'conner I didn't know he was raped, but he still was the female horse. And still slept with the male horse, just not willingly.

1. How are apples involved in that story? 2. Why do people keep pronouncing Sleipnir like "Sleepnir"? I don't claim to know for sure how the old norse people pronounced it, but I assume German is closer to it than English, and we speak the "ei" like "eye".
actually, not to be a know it all, but he disguised himself as a female horse, and um... did it with a guy horse, and loki was the mother xD
